Yes, the food is terrific, probably one of the best money can buy. But be ready to expand more than 300 dollars for two people - 2 bottles of regular sake included, to be fair - but even though... Look around you to find no celebrity - probably you are the most famous patron there.

Go and take time to explore the menu. Our waiter helped us navigate the menu and never led us astray! Had the peppers, yellowtail sashimi, rolls, drinks, chocolate pop and several other items in between. Everything was the best of the best. We even had a celebrity (top tier, trust me you would know him) sighting.

This place came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. From the mouth-melting appetizers to the final selection, each item was utterly delicious! The presentation was masterful but it was the taste which ruled. We sampled their trademark black cod dish and were sorely sorry when it had vanished. Also a huge fan of the Chilean sea bass! The green salad with... More

Want to feel like a celebrity minus the paparazzi? Book a dinner at Nobu. Lovely atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful dining rooms, really, really delicious food. This is not a diner, this is cuisine, folks, so don't complain about the price. We started with Edamame, the Baby Artichoke Salad and white Miso Soup, Scallops, Ribeye, and topped off with... More

We gave them a US$100 budget for each of us and asked them to surprise us. Which they did, in a great way. Each dish was simply amazing. There was so much fresh sashimi and the steak was so tender. The staff were also friendly and enthusiastic. If you want to have a splurge meal while in LA, I would... More

I was expecting a much more snobby ambiance at first but then I found the new Nobu in West Hollywood to be very friendly and relaxing. Expect the classic Nobu selection of both Sushi and fusion (read: Peruvian) influenced dishes that are both very good. Nice, friendly service, too. Choice of original (read: trendy) drinks, the only real plus if... More

Nobu is a fine restaurant but boy can they charge. My single dinner cost me $135.00 and I was still hungry. I think they get too fancy with the food and it looks great on the plate but it just misses the mark in enough food. For the price I was disappointed…….

This Nobu has fewer dishes than the NY and certainly the London ones. It follows and does not innovate. Whatever it offers is of the same standards as the other Nobu's, ie. very good. The waiters, of course, do put up a 'California friendly' face, but are more insolent ("let me finish this first, then I'll get you toothpicks" -... More

Lovely experience at the Nobu in West Hollywood .. After visiting the one in London I knew the dishes were pricey so excepted it but the food is wonderful, the staff are helpful and the atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed. Would recommend the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño peppers and the tempura shrimp in the creamy spicy sauce are both... More

Extremely pure sushi with a bit of a twist. wonderfully presented and served. My only issue was the space was a bit loud for the type of cuisine served. Expensive but if your a sushi head you have to visit.
