This place was recommended by the hotel front desk an our group was anxious to try Mexican food. Since I'm a Los Angeles native and of Mexican heritage, I tend to be more demanding with this cuisine. The chile relleno was pretty good...not too much batter. But their idea of a sope was disappointing....some shredded chicken and lettuce atop a... More

Nice restaurant, but poor maintenance and service, food is ok, takes too long to be deliver to the table plus, place is not really clean, dirty silverware and attitude from waiters, owner or manager at the register will ask if everything is fine but will do nothing is something goes wrong, sorry this was what I experienced and don't like... This is one of my favorite places to eat in Watsonville. The food is fabulous, the people friendly and the architecture quite lovely. Don't miss their guacamole made at the table!

Jalisco's is a Mexican restaurant in a mostly Hispanic town. As a lover of "real" Mexican food -- I do like it hot -- this would be a disappointment especially for those who "like it hot." However, the food is authentic and I would go there. The atmosphere is nice and the people are welcoming. However, they don't have any... More

I followed the reviews and it was close, but this is an overrated restaurant for food. I might be a good place to take a date as the service is good and the affect "fancy" but the food is only ok an not worth the price. I could have gotten as good camerones for half the price at many other... More

I remember a couple of things about my visit to Jalisco. The great Margarita and the fresh guacamole dip prepared tableside. Of course, the mixed grill fajitas were great. I'm not certain it was worth a drive from Morgan Hill, but the food was good. Service and ambiance was great. For a Mexican cuisine restaurant, I'd return. And I don't... More

A cab driver suggested this place to me on my first night in Watsonville. Because of the proximity to my hotel, I walked over. I decided to sit at the bar to watch MNF and was promptly greeted and served a beer. After looking over the menu, I chose the rib-eye steak, which looked to be pounded flat. Everything on... More

We've been to Jalisco twice for lunch. The first time it took ages to get seated, and we were ignored for so long by the wait staff that we left without ordering. The second time we had more time on our hands, so we toughed it out. Once seated, we got our drinks and our orders in right away, but... More

We live about an hour away and there are plenty of Mexican Restaurants in our neighborhood. This is always our families first choice. The seafood and the rest of their dishes are always well prepared and fresh. Whether you order their Platillo Especial ( grilled chicken, steak, shrimp with guacamole, beans, salsa fresca) or Chile Colorado(my husband's favorite or Cocktail Camarones... More
