Overpriced rooms, terrible service, terrible rooms...in the name of being a 1920s authentic hotel, you get a room with no phone, air conditioning, weird staff, and shared bathrooms in some rooms. As an expensive last resort it might worked but you'll still feel ripped off.

A group of us went to this Hotel for dinner & we were not disappointed in the price or the taste of the food. We will be back & maybe next time try the Sunday Brunch. The Chef came & talked to us to see if everything was ok. The waiter was very good about keeping our Drinks refilled the... More

My daughter-in-laws, their mother, sister and myself had 2 pm reservations. A bit later than we would have liked, but the restaurant was booked until then. We were seated immediately, asked if we would, like champagne, we asked for orange juice too. We were informed they were out of orange juice. The silver ware was cheap and stained. The dill sauce... I was married at this hotel in 2009 and come back at least yearly to celebrate my anniversary with Sunday Brunch. The new management is lacking, service fails, food falls short. The place now lacks the warmth and charm that it used to have. Im sad to say, I wont be back.

We he'd the Champaign brunch here at the Ryde on Labor Day 2013. Everything was good and flavorful and the prime rib was excellent. The service, and the piano player was great... We couldn't sit outside due to a rude group that obviously had way too much champaign, and tequila..

Nice place, lots of history, former speakeasy. Sunday brunch extensive, with lots of breakfast stuff (omelet, eggs benedict, etc) and prime rib, salmon, shrimp, salads, Mimosas and champagne. Great location in Sac River delta.

After being recommended to come for Brunch, we finally did. We were told to ask for Sarah and she took very good care of us. Had a beautiful afternoon sitting outside with a light Delta Breeze. After our first plate of salads, we moved on up to Eggs Benedict and topped off the meal with the Prime Rib, which was... More

We'd heard about the Ryde Hotel which has a fascinating history (including being a speakeasy during Prohibition), intriguing art deco styling, lots of local color, and a great Sunday brunch. It's a little pricey but was excellent. Lots of variety; various diets should be OK there. The staff were friendly, helpful, and if asked, had lots of history & fun... More

Food was ok. Stuck in a table in the corner and forgotten. Hard to get drinks refilled. Would not go back for brunch again. No view either

A friend told us about how wonderful this Sunday brunch was. On a cruise down the Sacramento river, we arrived at their moorings and tied up. Unfortunately, we arrived at 11:00 which made it warmer than we would have liked since they had no a/c. They offered a custom omlette bar which I suggust you get first rather than allowing... More
