Every month or so my husband and I can't resist sharing a crab sandwich and a Black and Tan sundae! It's always great...great staff, great food and there's often a birthday party to watch. I appreciate the waitstaff noticing when I need water, etc. and they always ask if they should wait to order the sundae so it won't melt.

Quick and friendly staff! Enjoyed the crab sandwich and garlic fries. Then ended with ice cream. Too many to choose from!

One of the first spots I was taken to by friends when I moved to Walnut Creek. The variety of ice cream flavors will overwhelm you, Beautifully served and served by very attentive young waiters and waitresses (I guess we call them Servers today.) In addition to all ice cream concoctions, the sandwiches are also excellent. My son chose a... More

It is a casual, old- fashioned ice cream parlor. Any children or ice cream lovers (like me) would be delighted to eat lunch or go in for ice cream only and indulge yourself in the many choices of sundaes and other concoctions. The lunch menu is tasty and varied.

The ice cream at the San Francisco Creamery compares favorably to Fenton's Creamery in Oakland. The food is good (try the crab sandwich) but the stars are the choices of ice cream. The ice cream is of great quality and you get a lot of it. This is THE "go to" place for ice cream in the bay area (along... More

All I can say is i'm soooo glad I found it. Superb ice cream. Really friendly and helpful service. Let you taste then decide. Such ample servings at very reasonable prices. Definitely will be going back for the Thin Mint ice cream.

The ice cream is yummy and the creations they make with it equally good. The hot fudge is dark and plentiful and the shakes thick and creamy. Don't overlook the food menu. Hamburgers and fries are also pretty good. Service is good and attentive. Great family restaurant in downtown.

We enjoyed an after dinner ice cream and downtown stroll with Wisconsin family visitors. All four flavors received exclamations!

The food is basic pub fare. We come for the overly gooey sundaes. They taste great and it is great way to celebrate a milestone in our daughters life.
