Great Dinner

We had not been here in a few years, but the food was always good. Passing through WC we decided to stop in for dinner and had a great meal. The service was friendly and professional. We started with the spinach/arugula salad with strawberries, feta cheese nuts with vinaigrette dressing. Not... read more

The hardest thing for an Italian restaurant to cook seems to be their Bolognese meat sauce. Some places kill it with too much tomato paste or sauce, others forget that Italians love spices and put out something so bland that you would think it was made in England. Not so at Pasta Primavera Too in Walnut Creek. There was four... More

I was immediately seated. I arrived ahead of my wife so ordered cocktails and bruschetta. When she arrived 10 minutes later, we still awaited the cocktails and the bruschetta -- and waited for them another 10 minutes. Cocktails were watered down; we never did get the bruschetta. I ordered soup of the day with my main course. I never got... More

For a long time I thought this restaurant was bigger due to the mirrored wall :} ! I think it might seat 75 people in the 2-sided main dining room with a function room/additional seating in a side room. The serving staff is a mix of young people who are learning (maybe students?) and experienced, professional waiters. I think this... More

Good and consistant food from a restaurant that has been around for a long time. Wide selection menu that will offer something for all. My favortie is the Chicken pesto gongonzola pasta.

During one of my long walks around pleasant hill, I saw Pasta Primavera restaurant and thought of trying food from there. I got Bruschetta and vegetarian pesto to take home. I paid couple of more visits to Pasta Primavera afterwards. - Food is good, take out and dine-in prices are different so make sure you are paying for the correct... More

Didn't meet expectations. Had an overcooked pasta dinner - come on, an Italian restaurant shouldn't do this! Appetizers were just regular, nothing to write home about. Service was somewhat slow. Overall, not worth it. There are better Italian places nearby.

Had to stop by and get a bite. Great food, great service. Even the chef came out to introduce a new dessert. They have a little bit of everything. Priced right for the amount of food served.

Good Italian home cooking. Very good service and the bread was fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a nice homey place to dine, this is it!

I was expecting a typical Italian restaurant with typical food. However, thus place far surpassed my expectations. The wait staff was skilled and knew how to help narrow the decision from the extensive menu! Every dish I saw served looked delicious. When. Mine arrived, it was fabulous. Salmon with angel hair in a butter lemon sauce! It was fabulous. I... More
