I've been to the Yacht club probably 5 times this last year and the food is always above average, fresh, prepared well, but, unfortunately so are their prices. Just a little too high for the common Joe walking in off the street looking for a good piece of fish. What makes me give it 4 circles is their consistency.Their chefs are always... More

This was the first restaurant I ate in when I moved here 17 years ago, and it continues to be some of the best seafood on the west coast! In January, they have incredible lobster specials, and if you join their "Commander's Club", you have access to year round specials. The cocktails are unique, the food consistently delicious and innovative... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience on the patio reserved for our group. The nautical decor gives the feeling as if you just popped off the boat and are sitting dockside. Ryan was our excellent waiter! Started with cocktails, the oyster on the half and calimari were tasty appetizers! I had the grilled trout which was superb! WCYC is a major... More

A top choice for consistently excellent food, great service, and a central location. A top choice for a good meal with friends or family on most any occasion. Sometimes it is a little noisy, so best to ask for a quiet booth toward the back (even so, it can still be a bit noisy on a busy night). Best to... More

I had the Ya Ya Gumbo and it was totally delicious. The service was friendly and well done and my friend loved the fish and chips. WCYC is right in the center of Walnut Creek and close to everything. Fish is fresh and well prepared. Highly recommended.

Marilyn and I had just finished a long day at our stall at Art in the Yard / Concord. By the time we packed up it was 7:30pm and we were ready for a drink and something really special to celebrate a great day. Unbelievably, we found a parking place closer by and got to Walnut Creek Yacht Club just... More

Had diner with the family, 4 adults and 2 children, and it was very good. I had the Fish and chips which were very good. Cook good and tasted very good and fresh. My wife had the Halibut which was the best. Appetizers were Calamari and a Shrimp dish that I forgot the name but also good. Quiet restaurant, small,... More

We have dined at Walnut Creek Yacht Club with family and friends at least twice a month since Kevin and Ellen opened it 16 years ago. The fresh seafood on offer every day is unsurpassed, whether we select the oysters, clams, fish tacos, or a selection from the seasonally changing items, from chinook salmon to lobster, crab, swordfish, halibut, alwys... Although we were staying at Walnut Creek for long we never went to this restaurant till I read it about in Tripadvisor and all the reviewers.Excellent and fresh sea food. We tried the Maine Rock crab cakes and the Lobster roll. It was lip smacking. I would love to go back when I am there at Walnut creek again.
