we had calamari, clam chowder and scallops. The chowder was disappointing ... Too thick and not enough clams. The calamari was good, served with a roumalade sauce (sort of felt like Outback). Scallops were tasty.

Three of our party ordered the unlimited mussels, which comes with unlimited salads and garlic fries. The salad was exceptional, with a heavy presence of beets,,giving an earthy flavor to the mixed greens and onions. As usual, the fries were good, but largely left untouched as the mussels were the draw tonight. Unfortunately, after serving up roughly six pounds, they... More

My husband and I went for our anniversary Saturday evening...had reservations and were quickly seated....waiter was nice but once seated we didn't really see her until the bill! The oysters were amazing, the calamari was also amazing...fish tacos, steak and gumbo were so-so.....was very crowded that night so may be one of the reasons we didn't see our waiter! Would... More

We weren't really starving, but we did make the mistake of trying to find a good restaurant in Walnut Creek on a busy weekend evening without first making a reservation. Big error! Fortunately, this restaurant squeezed us in, and fed us a terrific meal. While I could not honestly click the Tripadvisor box asking whether this was one of the... More

This restaurant is by far the best overall in Walnut Creek. We go there for special occasions and then sometimes just so we can get the oysters and then Cioppino. The wait staff is always attentive and there for you with helpful hints on food and beverage pairings.

We were back in Walnut Creek after years of absence only to see that this lovely spot is still there. We had never been but, based upon the great review we thought we would jump in for a quick lunch bite and we were not disappointed. The white linens and excellent service along with a very tasty seafood lunch complimented... More

I've been to the Yacht club probably 5 times this last year and the food is always above average, fresh, prepared well, but, unfortunately so are their prices. Just a little too high for the common Joe walking in off the street looking for a good piece of fish. What makes me give it 4 circles is their consistency.Their chefs are always... More

This was the first restaurant I ate in when I moved here 17 years ago, and it continues to be some of the best seafood on the west coast! In January, they have incredible lobster specials, and if you join their "Commander's Club", you have access to year round specials. The cocktails are unique, the food consistently delicious and innovative... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience on the patio reserved for our group. The nautical decor gives the feeling as if you just popped off the boat and are sitting dockside. Ryan was our excellent waiter! Started with cocktails, the oyster on the half and calimari were tasty appetizers! I had the grilled trout which was superb! WCYC is a major... More

A top choice for consistently excellent food, great service, and a central location. A top choice for a good meal with friends or family on most any occasion. Sometimes it is a little noisy, so best to ask for a quiet booth toward the back (even so, it can still be a bit noisy on a busy night). Best to... More
