Go before or after a movie

This is a great place to get a bite before or after a movie as the theater is right down the street. We sat at the bar so we could watch the game and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. What I like is they offer 2 sizes on many dishes so if you don't want a large portion,... read more

This is a great place to enjoy a business lunch with a new client. Nice atmosphere, white table cloths and seasoned wait staff. Excellent wine list and experienced bar tenders. The food might be considered comfort food. I always enjoy the meat loaf, trout, or pastrami sandwich. The fresh warm in house baked bread made is a nice touch especially... More

We have had lunch here and were wanting to try it again for dinner. While the decor and atmosphere are upscale, we did not find the food up to the same quality. Two in our party had the salmon, which was on the dry side--unfortunate when you order/pay for something that you could have prepared better yourself. I had the... More

My mother and I found Lark Creek after walking around Walnut Creek looking for somewhere that she could have a drink and I could have a meal. Most places were full and had a long waiting list, but we were given a table outside immediately. The server Sandy was outstanding and went out of his way to make our evening... More

After being seated at this local walnut creek restaurant we had high expectations of a great evening. They have wonderful outdoor seating & a great ambiance. We were greeted by our fabulous server, Sandy. We ordered our food and chose a few recommendations by our server. After about an hour we began to wonder what was taking so long. We... More

We went recently and had the chicken and meat loaf. Both were excellent. The service w as ok but not exceptional. Thee wine was half priced which made the evening. I would recommend reservations which we did not do and the wait was longer than hostess told us. In fact after I checked back we got seated quickly which causes... More

We had brunch here recently. This cafe is known for the very pleasant ambiance and very professional service and we enjoyed both. The food and drinks were not so good. I ordered huevos rancheros which arrived with overcooked eggs drowning in a slurry of bland salsa. Our bloody Mary's were tiny and weird. They were so oddly flavored..not spicy, rather... More

Three of us had lunch there. Wine is 50% off! Food was good with healthy options. Bread was warm. Butterscotch pudding dessert was awesome. Should have stayed away from the free fudge that came with the check - too sweet for my taste!

Lark Creek is one of those restaurants that don't seem to go out of style - the food is consistently good though never memorable., the service is generally excellent and the location on Locust Street is attractive and convenient to downtown. My wife and particularly like sitting on the front patio on a nice spring evening and enjoying a light... More

We dined here for a special occasion as a party of 4, and we really loved the experience! The food was beautifully prepared and it was delicious! The service was warm and very professional. We have eaten at other Lark Creek concepts before and they have never disappointed. We enjoyed the evening so much, we will plan to return on... More
