wonderful elegant brunch

A great addition to Walnut Creek restaurant week. Brunch was very good. The Berry Muffins made the breakfast meal complete. Haven't been here in fifteen years. Wonderful to say that upon my return it was a good as ever. The menu still changes according to the season, the food is still top rate. More expensive than many other restaurants on Main Street but worth every penny!

This is one of our favorite places for lunch, happy hour and after movie dinners. I can't rave enough about the tamale pancakes -- divine. Also, no visit is complete without the signature butterscotch pudding. The wait staff greets you as if you are a long-lost friend -- gotta love that! The changing menu reflects the seasonal, local ingredients. Any... More

Usual fine selection of entrees plus featuring spring lamb…from the U.S. We had one order of lamb wrap and one of tortilla pancake. Both delicious and washed down with sauvignon blanc and craft beer. Very nice luncheon.

I was here in St Patrick's day. Are ate the bar, bartender was awesome and the food was very good. If you are in the bay area and visit Walnut Creek you can't go wrong here. Can't wait to come back.

I have walked past this restaurant for years and for some reason never stopped in. I'm mad at myself for missing some really good meals! My food was delicious, but moreover the service was incredible. He anticipated every need and went out of his way to have someone make a remedy for my upset stomach (not from their food!). This is a restaurant that does it right: cuisine, service and atmosphere. We had dinner reservations here but also ended up eating lunch as well on the same day while walking around downtown Walnut Creek. One observation which is always a point of separation for restaurants that do it right: managerial presence and attentiveness. The quality of the food, pacing... More

Went for lunch today. Thought the menu was lacking creativity so I ordered the crab and shrimp louis. My friend ordered the tortilla pancake which she said was very good. When my salad arrived it was served on a bed of butter lettuce and consisted of one small egg, halved, some bay shrimp and shredded crab, probably snow crab. Yep,... More

This restaurant is one of my favorites. The restaurant is always serving up great good, especially the meatloaf. The bar is usually always hopping and the bartenders are astute and enjoyable. The small party rooms are quite convenient for special events. Located on bustling Locust Street with city parking lot above.
