I truly love to see small businesses prosper, but they need to do things right by the customers. Fresh, consistent food, and good service are key.... I am not surprised that they closed. I wish they could have tried harder, as I would have given them a few chances to make things better....They had such potential....only got to try them... More

The service and the food was great!! Everything came out nice and hot and beautifully presented. The ambience is a bit plain. If you are comfortable with just a plain sit down cafe type then you'll be okay - not a fancy restaurant.

Our last visit was so good and this one was so bad. Four of us decided to have an early dinner after a recital at the Lesher. Three in our party ordered just salads and I ordered the Spinach Manti. The salads and appetizer our friends ordered were brought to the table along with my wife's salad, but not our... More

We had read the reviews and gave it a try. Our server welcomed us warmly and asked us to sit at a table of our choice -- not very busy on a Monday evening, but we arrived a bit early and the crowd grew over time. Beautiful photographs of Istanbul and the Bosphorus adorn the walls, except for the large... More

The past reviewers who loved this restaurant were right. If there was a '6' on the rating scale, I would give it. You become engaged as soon as you walk in. The restaurant is well decorated, small and intimate, yet bright and open to the street through large windows. The walls are expertly decorated with photographs of the Istanbul and... More

I absolutely loved my experience at Bosphorus! It's no wonder the reviews are all perfect :) This is a casual restaurant, not formal or fussy. So come as you are, but do have an open mind because the food's authentic and you can have a lot of fun with it! We started with Cold Combo Appetizer (combination of yummy mezes... More

Our first visit will bring us back. The food was truly authentic and the service was great. Being Armenian, we search out places such as this and we were not disappointed.

These brothers have developed a menu that is a true bit of Bosphorus! You must try a bit of it all. The quality is solid, the service outstanding, and the experience unique. Try their desserts...you will not find anything like it any place else. Never disappointed - Mary Lou Browning

I had no idea of what to expect as I'm not that that familiar with Turkish or Mediterranean cuisine, however was very impressed. The food was very fresh and beautifully presented. With unique tasty spices and tender meats everyone at my table was pleased. The waitstaff was attentive and the meals arrived in swiftly. The prices were fair. The atmosphere... More
