Great service and awesome baked beans

Ordered take out to eat in the car before going to the movies. I ordered by phone and the guy was SO HELPFUL and patient! We ordered coleslaw and baked beans. The beans had meat in it and was DELICIOUS! a little spicy so if you don't like spicy you might want to pass up. We will come again and... read more

It's great to get some real BBQ west of kansas city, the way it's supposed to be done. For those who think BBQ is grilled chicken with BBQ, they need to either go to Kansas City or come here. I had BBQ chopped pork with BBQ sauce on the side. Hubby had beef ribs with burnt ends of the trip... More

Famous Dave's always meets expectations - whether it's pulled pork sandwich for lunch or mixed BBQ meats for dinner. Tasty, cooked to tenderness and the sides are good (I skip the waterlogged corn on the cob).

Famous Dave's offers a wonderful experience, from the fun décor to the famously friendly staff, just being there is great. Their extensive menu offers many choices of great barbeque. I love the food and look forward to every visit. Lunchtime offers a loaded baked potato with you choice of barbequed meat mixed in that is awesome. If you like barbeque,... More

We've been enjoying Famous Dave's since it opened in Vista. We got hooked on great BBQ when we went to Memphis to be married at Graceland, and now we have a taste of that nearby! Generous portions, great selection of menu items from salads to catfish, chicken, brisket, pulled pork & ribs. Traditional sides include cole slaw, Wilbur beans (which... More

A couple years back, we used to be at this restaurant every saturday during the college football season. While my favorite meal, the cajun chicken sandwich, is still very good most of the other items are not what they used to be at all. My biggest issue is with their mixed drinks. They are soooo sweet now and I'm not... More

We went here with friends who have been a few times, and ordered the large platter for 6 which is served on a garbage bin lid (clean and lined of course!) - they normally order for two and say there's usually plenty left for doggy bags, so we went a step up. We all got to sample a bit of... More

Had the 1/3 rack of ribs with beans & mashed potatoes. The ribs were plentiful with meat & full of flavor. Mashed potatoes were pungent with garlic - I loved them. The beans had a celery flavor that was a little overpowering for me. Baby girl had mac n cheese and steamed broccoli which were cooked perfectly for a new... More

I'd never been there before but heard it was great. I met relatives there and had a terrific lunch of Texas beef brisket. It was so tender, I'm surprised it didn't fall apart cutting it. The sauce was delicious as was the side of potato salad and Stone IPA to wash it all down.
