The Vintage Press delivered on an excellent evening. First, the atmosphere and setting was very nice. The main dining room was very pretty and the bar area looked very inviting and comfortable. Walking around the building we also saw several inviting areas where you could host a larger party which is a plus. Second, the service was tremendous - attentive... More

I have a friend who lives south of Visalia. I live north. Occasionally, we meet in the middle for a good meal and to "catch up." There are more modern restaurants in Visalia than the Vintage Press. Its setting and its menu reflect an earlier era. I don't think that's a bad thing. The patio, the dining rooms and bar... More

The Vintage Press is the best fine dining restaurant from Bakersfield to Fresno easily. Their wine list is one of the top rated in California. The decor is vintage wood, stained glass, and just pure elegance. The food is delicious. One of my favorite first course dishes is the Hawaiian tuna sashimi. It's amazing. You'd never think that you can... More

If you want simply a wonderful night out, save your money and treat yourself to a meal at the Vintage Press. The menu is always fresh and the presentation, taste and ambiance are second to NONE. The wait staff is well trained and knowledgeable. One evening we even met a traveling business person who lives in Los Angeles, but whenever... More

Fine dining in Visalia?!? Who knew?!?!? We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. In addition, the decor is elegant and unexpected for the area. We enjoyed an appetizer of abalone in a puff pastry. It was a bit on the "fishy" side for my taste, but overall was worth a try. The wine selection is... More

Fine dining in Visalia! It doesn't get any better than this! It has been years since I was here. When I came into town again this was the first place I went. It is just as good as I remembered it. Victorian ambiance and fine food! I had the garlic chicken and there was nothing boring about it! Even the... More

We went expecting a fine meal and service. We got both. Dinner was excellent, portions were just right, the service was friendly and accommodating. I recommend Vintage Press to anyone wanting a nice night out with great food and service.

Fantastic Food! I sat in the Rose Room for dinner while traveling on business. I had a fantastic meal with great service. The staff were attentive, they rolled out the red carpet in service. I will certainly visit again on future trips.

If you want to impress, take them here. The ambiance is unmatched by the great food. This is the first place I met my wife of 10 years. I love the food and recommend the Green Chile Relleno for lunch appetizer or the Fresh Pacific Northwest Oysters as an appetizer at dinner. Menu is always changing so pick anything that... More

We live in this little town, but even if I didn't, I would drive to eat here! The mushroom puffed pastry is simple the best. The meals are amazing and seriously the best steak you will ever eat! Try it out and let me know.
