We dined here on Christmas Eve, expecting a limited menu and higher than average prices. But we did not expect the poor service and mediocre food. Our reservation was for 6:30. but we arrived early to have a drink in the bar. We were told that all tables were reserved in the bar, but that our dinner table was ready... More

My husband and I had a wonderful evening with great food and an elegant wine. Their bread with dinner was so addicting!

Took our adult children there a few days after Christmas. The place was beautiful, the service was wonderful, but the food was just average. My wife had the special, a lamb kabob. It was very chewy and she didn't finish it. I had the salmon from the menu. It tasted good, but it was a little dry. The sauce saved... More

By all means come for lunch and a lovely fall baby pumpkin filled with chicken and cheese and other yumminess. It's a bit loud with all the chattering but it means people are having a good time and enjoying their food as well as their friends. One of the things I like best about the food at the vintage press... More

A fun and entertaining evening with Chef David Vartanian at the Recipe Night. The last Tuesday of each month, salad or soup with entre and sides along with the wonderful bread and of course wine included in a set price.

Wonderful , creative menu. Always excellent. Friendly, attentive service. The perfect place for special occasions or when you simply want some of the best food in California. The restaurant and bar have a European or San Francisco feel. Only minus is the somewhat crowded main dining room. Ask for a booth if you want a quiet dinner.

We've eaten here on several occasions. The food is superb and beautifully prepared. The staff is well-trained and very accommodating. We had special out-of-town guests coming in for a visit. We wanted to treat them to the Vintage Press Sunday Brunch, but did not want them to worry over cost. We asked David (one of the owners) if it would... More

The spouse of a former friend, mentor, and boss of mine recently passed away and we had a celebration of her life that included a meal at the Vintage Press. Everything about this restaurant is first class. The food is incredibly prepared, there are many choices, the staff treats you like long-lost family members that they are so thankful to... More
