This place is incredible and it always has a high standard and doesn’t waiver. The food is delicious with French undertones. The place is beautiful and the staff is nice and classy! Every time I am home I have to go to the VP. Visalia is lucky to have such a amazing place!

One of my all time favorite meal is the baby pumpkins that the Vintage Press serves during the fall months. Along with the pumpkin you get a delicious salad garnished with pear and a few other yummy things. They have other wonderful dishes, and a lovely interior. It is one of the nicest restaurants I have eaten in, and by... More

I shared with friends a lovely meal that was as expected to be superb. The server was young and not as experienced as staff norm, but the service was adequate. Food was to perfection, including the appetizers were superb. We all commented that here needs to be more side vegetable selections other than potatoes, but that's about the only complaint.

Hubby and I arrived mid-afternoon and although lunch was no longer being served, our waitress checked with the kitchen, and they agreed to prepare whatever we wanted. We wanted to stop here as it is Wine Spectator recommended. They serve some lovely wines by the glass, which is not often the case. All of our food was delicious. There were... More

Well, after coming here for so many times I'm still happy with the food and service, top service from Trent, and Justine at the bar, they sure can make drinks for any mood or desire, and Melinda on the dining floor always make sure we never ran out of water and wine, over all great service and food. I totally... More

What a treat to find in a small town. Loved all of it. Staff was very attentive. Loved the escargot ! Had a steak husband had scallops both were very good. Chocolate mousse was delicious too. Yes it's dark and older but that's the appeal. Really enjoyed it. Would go back if in the area.

The VP is the place to eat in Visalia and has been for more than 20 years and not much has changed in that time. The plusses: friendly and efficient wait staff, great dessert, and generous wine pours. The negative: salads and main dishes were average- large portions, but flavors were bland. My pasta was floating in cream sauce and... More
