I was celebrating my birthday with my fiancé on July 2nd. He wanted to re-create an experience we had at a steakhouse we had in Texas. It was not what we expected as far as steakhouse. Atmosphere: It was more of a fine dining menu with casual dining experience. (We over-dressed.) Hardly anyone there. Pricing: Spending $30+ each plate on... More

Very find food, fine service personnel, Appetizer very good shrimp-was like a small lobster, steaks were well cooked and seasoned. Like a previous reviewer stated-the menu prices are at the top end of affordability-expect $100 + for an evening for two.

Have been eating there for at least ten years and only once were our steaks a little salty. Absolutely the best martinis in Visalia and have never had a waiter or waitress that wasn't the best!

When I need a good steak in visalia, I go to the double LL for the house specialty a large 21 day aged black angus bone in ribeye. Need I say anymore.

It is sad that the only "Steakhouse" in this city can't serve up a proper steak. Don't get me wrong the steaks are ok for the average but priced way above the average.

Wonderful food, large portions, friendly environment. The steaks, fish and chicken are all really good. Sides are plentiful. Great long island iced teas. Have been for dinner on several occasions and never had a problem.

Service is poor and the food average. First ventured in and left after waiting excessive amount of time to be recognized. Assumed it may have been a bad day for the staff, but the second time visiting wasn't any better.

Excellent charcoal grilled new york steak. Very good Cesar salad. Garlic cheese bread under cooked. Downtown location.

I do NOT recommend Double LL restaurant (see photo I posted) the $32 Filet Mignon was full of fat. It is suppose to be the center cut & melt in your mouth. This was hard to chew & the 3 bites I tried to eat I had to spit out because of the fat. When I advised the server it... More

Went to dinner here 1 time and this was the last. Me and the wife both had lamb and ended up leaving over half the plate. Service was slow and they acted as if they were so busy with only but 6 tables besides ourselves in the restaurant. After getting home we had a bad case of food poisoning. We... More
