Went here for breakfast after visiting Sequoia National Park. Looked up where to eat breakfast and this was recommended so we decided to give it a try. When we first walked in it looked like a gift shop with no sign of a restaurant so we were looking around wondering if we were in the right spot. The host then... More

After seeing the number of highly rated reviews on Trip Advisor and their ranking among Visalia restaurants we decided to give them a try yesterday morning. We hadn't been there for years and were pleasantly surprised. They were pretty busy. The food was good and even though the portions were not as large as some of our other local favorite... More

Wonderful little restaurant for breakfast. Appeared to be family owned and probably Scandinavian oriented. Omelet and biscuits and gravy were very good. Portions were plentiful. Very friendly service. Appeared popular with a number of "regulars".

Great breakfasts.....Danish pancakes a specialty. Family owned and operated for many years. Never get tired of going to Valhalla (lit. Vikings Heaven) and the Danish/Swedish pancakes are indeed heavenly!

Great food, hands down. Breakfast is fast and friendly and the quality of ingredients coupled with the skills of a master cook fuels your soul as well as your body. Lunches are very tasty as well. I don't believe I've ordered anything that wasn't absolutely wonderful at Valhalla Restaurant. The gift store has some great finds as well.

Had Saturday breakfast mod-morning. Bustling little Danish/American coffee shop style restaurant started 30 years ago still under family management. Good general menu selection with a couple of specialty items. Excellent hospitality, atmosphere and good value. Homemade berry jam and gooey cinnamon buns/muffins. Best place, hands-down, for breakfast near in old town Visalia! They even had local musicians singing Xmas carols!

Still the best breakfast in town. Closed Sundays. Parking a little tight. Downtown location. Chicken apple sausage great!

The food was very good and the service was friendly. It's a lovely atmosphere. I always enjoy a nationally themed restaurant with authentic food on the menu, as long as it's good, anyway.

Fabulous Danish treat with delicious Aeblskiver, wonderful home-made jellies, delicious Danish ham and delightful Swedish pancakes. Probably the best breakfast I have had anywhere in California!
