When we are visiting family in Visalia we always go somewhere to eat lunch. A favorite is Shanghai Chinese restaurant. Rosa's Italian is another. We were hoping Alejandra's was going to be another but our last visit wasn't as good as the time before. With so many mexican restaurants in town, consistency should be top priority with food and service.... More

We stopped in Visalia on the way to the Sequoia National Park. As it happens, our travelling companion had a friend from Visalia, and recommended Alexandra's. Visalia has a very interesting downtown, easy fun place to walk and window shop. We tried three recommended favorites, all loved our dinners. Glad we stopped there!

Lots of choices. Yummy salsa and the fajitas are wonderful. Never disappointed with the food or service.

I love this place, great service, I'm a vegan and they make my food to my request. But my friends eat meat, chicken and they love the food too. Their chips and salsa are the perfect way to munch on while you are reviewing the menu.

The service is fairly quick most of the time. The prices are very reasonable. The food is excellent. I recommend the chili Verde- my favorite! All their food is good. I don't think you'll be disappointed eating here. I always walk out totally stuffed.

Outstanding food & service. Be prepared to wait on weekends as this place can get packed! Prices are very reasonable as well.

I got here after the wine walk just to finish the night, I just ate appetizers but I can't really remember if it was good or not, but I do know I had an awesome service, the bartender Emilio was awesome, they closed at 10 I believe and my friend and I left around 12:30, the waitress was also nice... Alejandra's has both indoor and outdoor seating. The bar has a large screen TV but is unobtrusive. There were three in our party and we each ordered different things. I had the chicken burrito and meatball soup which was delicious. All of us enjoyed our meals. The portions are large but I ordered the Apple Chimicanga. It was wonderful!

In a town full of outstanding Mexican restaurants, this is a perfect choice. Great food, caring service in a family owned restaurant on Visalia's vibrant Main St/downtown. Full bar and patio seating watching the Downtown pedestrian scene make this our 'go to' in Visalia.

We hit downtown Visalia late after a day of business seminars, looking for Mexican food in this heavily Latino area. We lucked out when we rolled up to Alejandra's thirty minutes before closing, and were cheerfully greeted and given chips and fresh, delicious salsa. This friendly attitude was evident in all the wait staff, we soon learned. This warm summer... More
