Friendly, funky, great pizza, downtown Visalia

Went walking from the Convention Center looking for a low key dinner. The Restaurant was pretty full but had seating at the bar. A waiter explained the various pizzas. I ordered the Diavola without the jalapeno peppers and a glass of what proved to be an excellent Pinot. The pizza arrived in about... read more

Pizano's is a regular for us! Hands down the best Italian pizza in town. The thin crust and awesome ingredients are the key to the great taste. The place is very small but cozy. The servers have been super nice and accomodating every time we go with our 3 kids. We have planned several birthdays there and they have always... More

Best pizza in town.. They also have good deserts... Wish they were opened on Sunday. This is one of my favorite places downtown.

Central Valley Hipster hangout and the strangest woodfired pizza restaurant in the Western World. Smallish individual pizzas with minimalist toppings, including the cheese and sauce (when they remember). The world's smallest and most uninspired salads served in an oversize bowl (meant to make the baby sized handful of wilted iceberg seem even smaller?). Crowded tables inside, a handful of tables... These are not greasy cheesy thick dough crust pizzas, so if you like that go to Round Table or Dominoes. Pizano's has a thin crispy crust with great flavor. The meats and cheeses are gourmet. I eat pizza here or I make my own at home.

Been here a few times now with my girl. Love the pizza. Not a lot of toppings but I like the Italian portion. The beer is great and staff so friendly. If you can and they have it avelibol try the DCE stout.

This is seriously the best, most unique pizza in Visalia. The quality and the service is outstanding. Drinks are limited, but solid. It's small and quaint, but you'll nestle in for a real treat eating here. Best Pizza: Diavola (pepperoni w/ fresh jalapeños) Best Drink: Dragon's Blood (half hard cider half red wine...seriously, try it)

Best thin crust wood-fired pizza in the area, hands down. If you want thick crust and hearty, go to Planing Mill. If you want thin crust wood-fired, this is your best bet. Toppings and ingredients are fresh, and pizza is made with care. I always get the Dunbar, and the wife gets a Margherita. We take home leftovers and fight... More

We tried this place because it looked promising and it went long far over the expectations! Very good pizza cooked in wood fire oven. Better than some pizzas in Italy!
