This is a family favorite. We placed order to go. Filled in a reasonable time. Special nachos had plenty of toppings and enjoyed by all. All ordered the las palmas burritos with sauce. Tonight the sauce was almost nonexistent- maybe we should have checked our order before we left. The pork had good... read more

Yes, the bottled beer was good - I was tired and thirsty - and I had to wait only ten minutes to get it. Unfortunately, that was the high point of the meal. I placed my order and ten minutes later it was all slapped down - salad, entry etc. The food was mediocre at best. Midway through I was... More

My dinner tonight was the best! The food and atmostphere were superb! The owners the most gracious and welcoming. I would recomend this resturant to anybody. Go check it out for yourself.

We had dinner at the restaurant Friday night. My husband had Chili Verde. He said it was the worst he had ever eaten. It was watery and had no flavor. Believe me when I say he has had his share of Chile Verde so that wasn't good. I ordered a Chimichanga and got something the size of a child's burrito.... More

Family favorite requirement when we visit Visalia. Old school mexican food like grandma makes. Salad dressing is like thousand island but not as tart and just addictive. Beans have a great flavor almost like chorizo is in them just a nice flavor. Ordered the chili colorado meat was tender sauce was flavored well no complaints.

Service very friendly, but food was tasteless. We had echillada, taco, burito, all tasteless and very greasy. The plate was piping hot, the food inside luke warm so probably food from the freezer. There are plenty Mexican restauramts in Visalia, choose another one. I

I love this place and visit every time I visit Visalia. I love the quirky decorations and the carts the waitresses roll out to deliver the food. My wife loved her bean burrito, and my #1 was still awesome. No one makes a chile relleno like Las Palmas. I wish I could have take a bucket full of the salsa.... More

There is something truly comforting sitting around a table with grown up children, savoring the spicy food and memories at a restaurant that welcomed us decades ago when the kids were little. Las Palmas is a treasure!

My husband and his family have been going to this restaurant for years. The food served was good but our server may have been having a bad day and that's why her attitude wasn't what it should have been. The prices are decent. We'll probably go back.

After 70+ years in business you've got to be doing something right! In all honesty, I like this place. However it seems that people either love it it hate it. The ambiance is good, the service is typically good, but the food is probably average as an overall rating.
