Made me addicted to Thai

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. This is my second favorite eatery in the valley, well, it's tied for first place actually. The food is phenomenal, for lack of a better word. The dining room may be a tad small and sometimes service may seem to drag but the food is more than... read more

It's a small place, so realize that you are going to have to wait if there's a crowd. Having said that the food is excellent!

Stopped here for a late lunch on the way to Yosemite. Glad we did. It's located in a shopping center just off rt 199 and worth the search to find it. I'm a fan of Indian food and had never had "Thai". Once you find the menu item you want your asked what spice level you would like. They rate... More

Wanting a takeaway that wasn't fast food. Found this gem of a place. Very friendly staff. Devine eating experience with generous portions. Enjoyed entree, 3 different curries and 2 salads. Couldn't pick a favorite but I always enjoy a Panang curry. Will eat in next time as the atmosphere in the restaurant seemed very relaxed a smelled delicious.

Driving through Visalia on way home from vacation. I wasn't sure how good Thai food could be in the Central Valley, but this little place was excellent! As a vegan, I am accustomed to having difficulties eating out. However, no problems here. Great vegan dishes. Everything we ordered was wonderful. Great service and reasonable prices. Would definitely stop here again!

Just had a take away-dinner from Thai Basil. Food was absolutely delicious!! Had few starters, a salad and few curries to share. If you like thai food, this is the place not to miss. No photos to share unfortunately. Didnt get a chance to get one before all the food was gone!!

We heard this was a restaurant we should try & is great but we were sadly disappointed. Service was very slow & the food was just ok. Don't think we will try it again.

Thai Basil offers fresh, always hot, tasty Thai specialties made to order. Small place so time your visit well or you may be left out in the cold.

We love Thai Basil's food and friends have commented that the cuisine is as good as any they've had in the Los Angeles area. The delicate use of lemon grass, basil and chiles is beautifully balanced. The staff will also help you punch up the spice, if you're so inclined. We're especially fond of the yellow curry sauce.

We went here on a Tuesday evening and were immediately seated. The atmosphere was both friendly and restful. We ordered Pad Thai, pinapple shrimp curry and sticky rice. Everything was delicious! We had coconut ice cream for dessert and it was heavenly! This place is definitely worth revisiting! I highly recommend it.
