Rustic Italian country restaurant

The food was good part of the dinner was a small plate of spaghetti and ravioli with warm sourdough bread. The service was mediocre but friendly he just didn't keep up on the water and didn't ask if malt vinegar was needed for the fish asked chips

Dinuccis's is what we think of as old school American Italian. Big menu but not much diversity. It does not take advantage of the farm fresh produce the area has to offer. The prices reflect that so if you are looking for inexpensive, a lot of food this is the place.

My husband & I drive past Dinucci's all the time but never stop. Last night we stopped on our way home. We ordered the prime rib. The meal price includes appetizer, soup, salad, bread, and the entree. The entire meal was excellent. The minestrone soup was fabulous and I am not a real soup fan. The bread was served hot... More

We went here for a family birthday party. The bread and soup was delicious, dinner was everything but. I had chicken parmesan, how anyone could mess this up I don't know. The chicken didn't have any breading and was so tasteless, the sauce was out of a jar, and it was covered in cheese. I love cheese but when it's... More

The dining room behind the bar room serves enjoyable full-course meals, many based on Italian-American family recipes. The seafood platter included excellent locally harvested pan fried oysters with several enormous flavorful prawns. The chicken marsala dinner was highlighted by the succulent tender chicken breast and flavorful marsala gravy with a little too much flour in our opinion. The pasta combo... More

Hubby had to talk me into going here. Looked dumpy and old. Well it is. After a disastrous dinner at Rocker Oysterfellas (or something like that) I was willing to give it a try. We've now been going for a few years and have been satisfied each time. Salad is excellent, minestrone is good-bread has a good chew on it.... More

As a long time Sonoma Co. resident We were very disappointed with the dinner that 15 family members were served. My wife was served a lazagna that was unreconizable, one family members chicken was overcooked, two dinners were served when others were half done. It was a big mess. The family was in agreement that we will no longer go... More

Last year, four plus. Fresh, homemade, all delicious. What happened? Salad dressing and soup tasted like low end food service. Prime rib watery and tasteless (??previously frozen). Prawns mushy and tasteless. Service was very good.

Had dinner there twice last week and both meals were great! First night we had Minestrone Soup that the waiter said was his grandfather's recipe! It was very good! Second evening I split lasagna with a friend and had a delicious salad. Plus the bread is yummy! Will be going back!

Driving up or down Route 1 (PCH) north of Point Reyes, you pass thru the small village of Valley Ford. Don't blink or you'll miss it. If it happens to be dinner time, don't miss Dinucci's - a family-style Italian restaurant that provides even the most ravenous diner with plenty to eat at a reasonable price. The decor hasn't been...
