The dining room behind the bar room serves enjoyable full-course meals, many based on Italian-American family recipes. The seafood platter included excellent locally harvested pan fried oysters with several enormous flavorful prawns. The chicken marsala dinner was highlighted by the succulent tender chicken breast and flavorful marsala gravy with a little too much flour in our opinion. The pasta combo... More

Hubby had to talk me into going here. Looked dumpy and old. Well it is. After a disastrous dinner at Rocker Oysterfellas (or something like that) I was willing to give it a try. We've now been going for a few years and have been satisfied each time. Salad is excellent, minestrone is good-bread has a good chew on it.... More

As a long time Sonoma Co. resident We were very disappointed with the dinner that 15 family members were served. My wife was served a lazagna that was unreconizable, one family members chicken was overcooked, two dinners were served when others were half done. It was a big mess. The family was in agreement that we will no longer go... More

Last year, four plus. Fresh, homemade, all delicious. What happened? Salad dressing and soup tasted like low end food service. Prime rib watery and tasteless (??previously frozen). Prawns mushy and tasteless. Service was very good.

Had dinner there twice last week and both meals were great! First night we had Minestrone Soup that the waiter said was his grandfather's recipe! It was very good! Second evening I split lasagna with a friend and had a delicious salad. Plus the bread is yummy! Will be going back!

Driving up or down Route 1 (PCH) north of Point Reyes, you pass thru the small village of Valley Ford. Don't blink or you'll miss it. If it happens to be dinner time, don't miss Dinucci's - a family-style Italian restaurant that provides even the most ravenous diner with plenty to eat at a reasonable price. The decor hasn't been... I love joints and this old road house is just plain fun. I have been going here since I was a boy and while it is not quite as good as it used to be, the pan fried fresh Tomales Bay Oysters are still wonderful. You still get antipasta, salad, pasta and soup with every meal. I find that it... More

This place has a fun *history*, but for the quality of food, for what they charge- is WAY over priced.. No WOW factor here...

Once upon a time, before Sonoma County became a slightly gentrified version of Marin County mashed up with a bit of Napa County nouveau riche, it was filled with the most amazing restaurants, all of which had great character and excellent food. Sonoma County was founded, in part, by Swiss-Italian immigrants, and Dinucci's in Valley Ford is part of that... More

The first impression, entering through a noisy, smelly bar, was almost enough to turn around and try somewhere else. However, the old and infancy dining room had cheerful and attentive wait staff. The soup starter course was excellent. We should have just had soup and bread. That would have been a four star meal. However, we had the regular plate... More
