Perfect location but?

I stumbled once again on this restaurant, now taken over by Zio Fraedo (I believe they are the 2nd or 3rd owners in 20 years...) If you like veal, don't visit Zio Fraedo's. They informed us that they no longer serve veal.*** *** *** *** If you don't serve something, don't have it on the menu.

We had an excellent dinner New Year's Eve! Prime Rib was perfectly cooked and delicious! Great service also!

Stumbled upon this harbor gem while visiting the bay area. Sat at the bar where the friendly bar tender provided excellent service; a number of obvious locals were enjoying themselves, creating a convivial atmosphere. I had the salmon Caesar salad and it was delicious; the thick, succulent salmon steak was cooked perfectly and the Caesar dressing, made in-house, was as... More

We stumbled along this place by chance and it was a great find!! The staff were very friendly and we had a great view. The food was excellent, my husband thought the fish and chips were excellent and the seafood pasta of the day was delicious! We all enjoyed our lunch immensely!

This restaurant has an excellent menu with something to satisfy anybody's palate. The fish 'n chips are excellent. I would not recommend this place for a large group because the place has a tendency to be very noise.

We stopped at Zio Fraedo's for dinner shortly before they closed, and were made to feel most welcome. The restaurant is handsome and the service all one could hope for. My veal parmigiana was adequate. My wife ordered swordfish which came to the table badly undercooked. A word to the waiter and the next thing we knew it reappeared cooked... More

We have been hearing about Zio Fraedo ever since we moved to Vallejo and finally got there for lunch. I suppose with the set back location and Italian name, we were expecting something more upscale and fancy. This was a nice place to eat simple, good food. and the view is terrific. We were given the option of sitting in... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel to be the place to go. It's right on the harbor with very nice views however we didn't get a window seat. It was on a Friday night at 6:00pm and were seated immediately with no waiting. Menu prices were a little pricey with no salad in $16-$22 but where very generous portions.... More

I ordered Fettuccine "Carbonara," which upon arrival, looked and tasted more like Linguini "Alfredo," with peas and some pancetta: is there an Italian cookbook in the kitchen (perhaps underneath the latest Sysco catalogue)? The character of this place felt more akin to a banquet facility in some Bakersfield assisted living operation: mediocre, institutional dining...
