I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but there are a few dishes that Kabuki has that I can't find anywhere else. Plus they have happy hour pricing on food. Discount on my fav's? I'm IN! Consistently fresh sushi, designer (clean!) bathrooms, good service at the sushi bar and a cool vibe makes this my go-to during their happy hour... More

Kabuki is a chain Japanese restaurant. It's usually good, but the last time we went it was awful. Gloria was our waitress. Ordered the tempura as an appetizer. It was so greasy. I let her know as soon as it came out and she said here have some extra napkins to sop up the extra oil. Huh?!?! My kids were... More

The food at Kabuki has always been excellent. But it's the consistently poor service that makes me wonder how this chain stays in business. I had been a regular customer of the Kabuki in Woodland Hills and always enjoyed the food. I have no quibble with the quality and taste of the food. But I grew weary of their consistently... More

We are not regulars of Kabuki, but do come on occasion. This was probably our fourth visit, this time for a late lunch. Being a weekday and after 1 p.m., the place was uncrowded so there was no noise to contend with as can be the case on a busy weekend night. We have not had sushi there, but do... More

I go to Kabuki every time I am in Southern California because my kids love the vegan sushi. When offered a choice of visiting a pizza restaurant or Kabuki, my 4 year old granddaughter opts for the sushi. The service is normally very good. The soups & lunch offerings are huge and tasty. The restaurant is very kid-friendly.

Good service, good food, acceptable price, describe Kabuki restaurant. We have been there last and this week, twice. The large variety menu can satisfy all potential customers. Not very sophisticated and schik, but will fill quite comfortable in every aspect. I will strongly recommend to those who do not expect very high level environment but good Japanese food.

Great sushi. Our family would also highly recommend the garlic edamame. The bowls of soup are enormous.

We visit Kabuki at least once or twice weekly. The sushi chefs always welcome us and have made special items for us to try. We will only sit at the sushi bar. This is the best seat for the quickest service. We also love to go during happy hour before 6pm. We can literally have sushi, maybe a beer, and... More

It was pretty expensive dinner for 2 but we enjoyed the food. We may return but usually opt for a less expensive option.

Kabuki is good because it's consistent. You know that you will get the same tasting item and the same service. They tend to be slow, especially if they are busy, which they usually are! But it's nice to sit on their patio and eat and relax. We go there more because we like their sushi than for the ambience.
