Great pies and often where we buy them for special occasions. The burgers are good too. This is an old fashioned burger shop. Don't expect speed just good if greasy food.

Nations is an okay place for breakfast ... but it is just another fast food establishment. Their pies are overly sugary and sweet instead of being filled with fruit to bring out the actual flavor. If you have no desire to eat healthy, then this is your place.

I grew up in a town with one of the original Nations restaurants and boy do I miss that place. Fortunately when I go home to visit I always stop for a burger. Their burgers have always been consistently delicious. I refer to them as a hamburger salad since the amount of produce put on them is more than needed.... More

Nation's was located near our hotel, we needed a quick meal and saw their "breakfast" sign. Made to order full breakfast with many choices and sizes, even pancakes or French toast instead of hash browns and toast. French toast - in ceramIc! - great!! Nice surprise. 'Course they have burgers and PIE! But that's for another visit.

If you are tired of the "hamburger hill" fast food fair, this is a good bet. Big tasty burgers, I mean big and very yummiest, made the old fashioned way! The breakfasts are excellent and trashy as well!,

Unfortunately since Vacaville closed it's Bakers Square getting decent NOT GROCERY STORE pie seems to be getting harder and harder to do these days. Luckily there is Nations. No they dont have a full selection of pie's, but they do usually have a 3 or 4 good choices at least one of which is seasonal. Their burgers are good, this... More

This place has great juicy burgers, and they are always cooked to order, so if you like them medium like me, instead of well-done, whis is the place to go. Don't forget a piece of pie! Their banana cream is the best from SF to Sacto, and their fresh strawberry in the summer is to die for. You can oder... More
