Went to Tahoe Joe's tonight for dinner. Ambience is nice, fireplace in lobby, decent wait areas with stone and wooden benches. We ordered rib eye steak, ribs, and the sierra steak(sirloin). The sides are generous, green beans, and we chose mountain mashers and vegetable rice pilaf which was reallly good. You also get rolls, and your choice of salad or... More

I think the steaks here are reasonably good, but not great. Was pleasantly surprised by their smoked steak, but tried it again the next time I went, not very good. They have great mushrooms, several good side dishes. But I found the steaks inconsistent.

Food is ok but service leaves a lot to be desired. I go ther for the soup a salads but there up to 10 dollars for lunch and there's better place to eat here than there

The fresh choices available at Tahoe Joe's are very good. The quality of ingredients is alway very high. The portions are large and most of the time there are left overs to take home. The food in the bar is very reasonably priced due to the extended Happy hour menus. The service is good. The food is even better. The... More

Always busy, You can always find something you like. Can be a little noisy. But that just means people are having a good time.

Consistently great food and service. Our favorites are the petite filets, but we've never had a "ho-hum" meal. Especially fond of their skillet apple pie -a seasonal offering. Service is consistently cheerful and prompt. A must try.

I almost always sit in the bar area. This way, we have the option of ordering off the Happy Hour menu or lunch/dinner menu, or both. The food on the Happy Hour menu is usually quite good. One person at our table had the Sliders and loaded fries, which were delicious as I tried.. The lunch soup and salad with... More

I had the Rib Eye. Wonderful as always. Juicy and succulent. My wife had the Smoked Chicken Salad. Tons of chicken on top with fresh greens. Love it.

An email offering a free appetizer was the only encouragement I required to return to Tahoe Joe's for a visit last evening. I asked my husband what appetizer he was in the mood for, all the while pretending that his input might influence our order. He knew enough to suggest the Bravehearts, which are my favorite. Crispy, lovely, lightly battered... More

It tasted like it was previously frozen and then reheated. Salad was very generic and dressing was weak. Good service but terrible food!
