Happened upon this restaurant by accident-were actually going to eat at the sushi place next door, but they were closed. We were hungry and on a time schedule to get to SF so we took a chance, Saturday early lunch. We were the first people in the place, which has 3 seating areas: the main room with a bar, the... More

Really enjoy this restaurant. Good food, good service, fair price. Disappointed tonight. Friday. No fresh fish specials and no filet steak.. Regular menu and some specials. Had the lamb chops and they were very good. Hope this limited menu doesn;t continue. This was one of the few really good restaurants in Vacaville. Hope they get back on track.

My wife ordered Airline Chicken which she enjoyed, but while I know the background of the name, I still can't understand why a "better" restaurant wouldn't call it "French cut" or "hotel" chicken. Either names would conjure a more appetizing image than "airline chicken". I had sea bass (6-7 oz. cut) that was cooked perfectly but arrived at the table... More

I had the salmon at Fuso and actually forgot what I was talking about with my friend. It was exquisite. Yummmm.

From our Walnut Creek home, we ventured out to Vacaville to try something a bit out of the way of the crowds. We drove into the little town of Vacaville that is absolutely lit up for the holiday season and found Fuso for our intended Italian dinner. The outside area was open and warmed with dramatic propane heaters, but we... More

Friends took us here as one of their favorites. They were right! The food was a little pricey but the quality, the service, and the setting were worth it. Not sure if we will be in Vacaville again but if we are we would come back. Crab Louie salad was great as was the sole.

This place has three sections, the bar area with flat screen TV's, the open kitchen area with some intimate tables, and the outdoor patio. We ate in the bar area since the World Series was on,our server Lalani, was great and the food was awesome! I had the Salmon, which I requested rare and it was perfect! My wife had the filet... More

We were going to be passing through Vacaville around dinner time and I wanted to take my husband somewhere nice for his birthday dinner. I looked online and read some good reviews for Fuso so that's where we headed. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant, the attentive staff and the delicious food! We'd go back there in a heartbeat!

This was a 50% successful dinner... The bread was good-- it was bread-- the salads were good-- yet just salads... The soup tasted like it was made with mildewed onions... Not good--- the pasta was good but as expected it was overly rich and seasoned. This may be a harsh review but this is why I do not like "American... More

Small Italian restaurant, nice atmosphere, friendly service staff. Extensive menu with many daily specials. We dined with two other couples and everyone ordered different dishes. Chicken Marsala, filet mignonette tips in risotto, salmon with capellini, gnocchi in marinara, and crab Louie along with soup and salad were our orders. The house salad was very good as was the fish chowder. A nice... More
