Another warm and welcoming experience

Breakfast with Santa was a lovely warm experience that did not disappoint. Over the course of one hour parents and children had an opportunity to meet Santa, have breakfast (which was a child friendly arrangement of crepes, cereals, fruit juice and pigs in blankets and more),The team at the Grange... read more

I used to be a regular here but won't be going back. Had the worst meal ever on Saturday, the manager didn't charge us after we complained. They've changed the chips recently, don't know why as the new chips are disgusting!

After our last visit we went back this time to eat. We where very disappointing, our gammon was very salty, our chips where more air than chip. To top that our main course came before we finished out starter. We wont be eating there again.

I was taken to Grange Farm for a Birthday Meal. I like vintage Inns and this one did not disappoint. We were warmly welcomed at the door and shown to our pre-booked table. I was a little worried by the number of cars in the car park that it would be crowed but needn't have worried. The lay out inside... More

Visited the pub and the restaurant recently. The food is average, prices are on higher side not justifying the average food. The service was slow. Ambience is good. Go if you have lots of time, want to enjoy company and you accept standard pub food.

Went there tonight, booked in online. Then it all went wrong. No sign of my booking ...luckily room for us. Meal turned up in a reasonable time and a promise of sauces to come.More drinks ordered as meal arrived. No salt on table had to be requested.Sauces and drinks arrived after we had half eaten meal as they'd either been forgotten about or staff... Visited with 4 friends who live outside of Leicester, and we were left embarrassed by our choice of venue. We ordered our starters and mains, only to be told 30 mins later that one starter choice was not available. We than waited over 90 minutes for our main courses to arrive, which were mediocre at best. Food not piping hot... More

Having visited here before, I booked a table online for Sunday lunch at 2.00pm for the three of us (my dad, husband & myself) & was surprised when it said the table had to be vacated by 4pm. We arrived five minutes early & were told that the table was still occupied & were left to wait at the bar... More

I've always been a fan of Vintage Inn and know their food is excellent. And at The Grange, the food has been exceptional too. The atmosphere is excellent and welcoming and have two log fires burning. Their festive menu was the best I have come across and very generous too. However the service is poor. They always seem rushed off... More

A party of 17 of us went for a Christmas meal, the place as a nice ambience and the staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Though the food was nicely cooked and presented, it wasn't very hot and the kitchen failed to get all the meals out quickly even though they had been pre ordered from a set menu which... More
