Tustin location. What made this evening (our anniversary celebration) exceptional was the welcoming reception the minute we stepped in to the restaurant. We asked questions about the various items on the menu and the waitress described the dishes as if she had prepared each and every one. Excellent wines were recommended at reasonable prices. The meals were delicious - two... More

I went here for lunch to treat myself, and it was fabulous! I went with a friend. They had a lunch special - for 16.95 we had a salad and their fabulous salmon on rice with asparagus. Unbelievably large portion of salmon and it was the best.. I had thought the dessert came with it, so I ordered that. However,... More

Either location will treat you like someone special. The staff, food, service are there to make your dining experience a delightful, party time. Attention to detail is their forte - they never miss. And they are a clean restaurant in every aspect. My favorite is the Butter Lettuce Salad and the wine selection is one of the finest around. The... More

I have been going to The Winery Restaurant since they opened back in 2007 and they have consistently met and mostly far exceeded our expectations. Having just opened a second location in Newport Beach, we were wondering if their flagship location in Tustin, CA would feel any strain. The answer is no. The food continues to be wonderful, imaginatively presented,... More

Great find in Tustin. We were seated promptly and our server, Andrew, was excellent. We were informed of the specials and given some time to decide. The sommelier, Chris, was absolutely spot on on the choice of wine with our meal. Quinoa and baby beet salad was something I would love to enjoy again. Hubby had the heirloom tomato and... More

Came here with a good friend of mine to celebrate her graduation. The restaurant is located at "The District" in Tustin, a shopping plaza that is on the intersection of Jamboree and Barracca. The Winery is a stand alone building that has a Red Robin right across from it and sandwiched between a row of stores (Ulta, Aki-Home, Whole Foods,... More

We just had dinner here tonight. No thanks. Will NOT be going back. The Hawaiian mahi-mahi had zero flavor (for $28); I just got back from a 2 week business trip to Hawaii, and every meal -- including the $13 take-out food at the kiosks -- was better. And the "cheesecake" was a dry, custard-like sad excuse for a cheesecake.... More

The best things were the overall quality of the food (particularly the starters and the excellent cooking of the meats), the generosity of the portions, the reasonably priced wine list, & the quietness (though it wasn't a particularly busy night). The negatives were the low light. Two members of our party had to use their keychain torches to read the... More

Chic, crowded, lively and with inspired food, it had a bit of a 'cougar's den' feel, but it was a great place. There's a new one in Newport Beach that should be good, too. Good wine list.

Once you get past the fact that this place is in a typical Orange County shopping center (between a Whole foods and a Tilly's), this place is great for steak and wine. While some of their menu feels forced, like they are trying too hard, the steak is top quality. Also love the black truffle mashed potatoes. They have a... More
