We've been going to Honda Ya for about 10 years now and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, whether you order the yakitori, sushi or ramen, we always enjoy our meal. Wait time to be seated can be up to an hour if you don't get there early to write your name on the list.

We tried tons of various meals here and all were good!! It seems difficult to get a table but we had a reservation set so this was fine for us.

I eat out alot, probably about 5 times a week for the past 10 years or so. Hondaya is easily my most visited place. Although it can be a little pricey when you factor in alcohol, the quality of the food is great, the staff is more than friendly, and the atmosphere is very casual but still classy. Hondaya has... We visited with a good friend and colleague. Sat at a tatami, but you could sit at the regular table if you wish. We were very well served. There's a wide variety of Japanese dishes. I can't tell which of the ones I tasted was the best, since they were all excellent.

First of all there is no server at the front. You have to fill up your requests for table on a clipboard by the front door. We had no preference and was seated faster than others who came before us. However we still had to wait 15 minutes although it was early. We were seated at the bar and we... More

went to this place for a friend's birthday. we made reservations, and got the private little room when you first walk in. we were probably the biggest group, about 12 people, but they handled it pretty well. good food, very tapas style, small plates that you share with everyone, 12 dollar pitchers.

Have been here several times, so I guess I can give a better review than someone that has only been once. I come for the kushiyaki (skewered & grilled menu) and small plates for sharing which is typically what a Japanese Izakaya serves. They do have some fried items such as tempura, kaarage, katsu, etc... which is done in the... More

Does anyone else notice the wrong picture is attached to the heading? Anyway, we only tried this restaurant once. The main problem was that everything was sticky to the touch, table, chairs etc. They deep fry a lot of their food and obviously don't clean well. A lot of young people like to come here and get extremely drunk. Overall... More
