Old School

Roma'D has been around Tustin for a long time. It's total old school Italian food. But it's really good old school. The red sauce is excellent and that really is the key, isn't it? They do most dishes well but their strength in red sauced dishes.

The food is consistently excellent here! I love the eggplant sorrento with marinara, hubby loves the sausage and peppers. Their lasagna is excellent, as is the fettuccine alfredo. They bring out a basket of hot, fresh rolls that are perfectly crippled and crunchy outside, but so soft inside. Their tiramisu is pretty good, too. This is a great place which... More

Buy their salad dressing and take it home - you will never buy another Italian dressing! Yummy! We love this family owned business. They have been a favorite of our family for over 30 years! Husbands family knows the Corea family and has been going for 40 plus years? Veal parmigiana and rigatoni and lasagna are always excellent! Bread and... More

Very accommodating - we called a day ahead to arrange for our group of ~30 for dinner while up there for a tournament - boys ordered pizzas, pastas and salads and it was all amazing!

Ate outside on the patio on a pleasant evening, inside was full due to graduation parties. My Grilled Chicken salad was fresh and tasty. The menu was reasonably priced, only one item over $20.

Family owned and operated and much beloved local Italian restaurant...good pizza, pasta, veal and chicken parmasiano. Reasonable prices, always busy. Their salad dressing is delicious and you really can't go wrong at this place.

My last review I was critical of service and food quality. On5-26-2015 we went back after long hiatus. I am pleased to report both food and service had a marked improvement. We had a small calamari salad that was just perfect, best I have had. Our dinners were also very good. We will be going back and I am going... More

We enjoyed very good lasagne, cannelloni, and manicotti with friends. Not huge portions, but perfectly adequate. The rolls were served hot, but nothing special. The friends we were dining with said the pizza is very good. Based on that and the fact that there were several other menu items we want to try, we will definitely return. Only complaint was... my wife and I have been several times whilst visiting family in Tustin. I had shrimp calabrese which was not quite as tasty as I have had before. My wife enjoyed her Penne Amore. We ordered a Merlot and a glass of Sauvingnon Blanc listed from Blackstone and Dry Creek. The Merlot was a little rough but the Sauvignon Blanc... More
