Great ambiance, great food, great service, great value . . .

My wife and I, not from Tulare, or California for that matter, have traveled for a lifetime throughout North America and Europe. I say this to provide a sense of who is writing this review. The server McKenzie recommended the lobster and shrimp ravioli and it was excellent. The iced tea was strong, which I love. So many places brew very weak tea. The minestrone was excellent; I loved the parmesan slivers! They had a good wine list; though I thought the wine prices were a bit high. There were several customers there and all... More

Very special place. Large portions of food. Got a huge salmon steak. Never had I been served one that large and perfectly cooked. I will be going back. Expensive but worth every bite. It's a family resturant so very packed and not quite. My husband loves the cheese filled tortellinis, rich but very flavorful.

As a resident of Tulare, I have come here many times for a special Italian dinner. I rate them excellent on all counts; excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. Everything I have tried has been exceptional but my all time favorite is their seafood cioppino....it's wonderful!

I see all these glowing reviews of this place and I am amazed. I must have eaten in a different LAPiazza, maybe in the twilight zone because my dining experience there was horrid. The food is overpriced and tasteless. The sauces taste like they are straight out of restaurant service cans. Service is nothing special and the decor is borderline... More

My wife and I stopped in Tulare last year more or less by accident, but returned again this year due partly to this restaurant. We agree with reviewers who describe it as top quality food and as having reasonable prices for the quality. We found the veal dishes particularly tasty, the salads fresh and tangy, and the wine list appropriate... More

We had an event in Tulare and wanted to invite a group of our friends to join us for dinner. Our event finished before the Restaurant actually opened for Dinner. We all arrived and realized they hadn't opened there doors for the Dinner service. They allowed us to come in 1/2 hr early to look over the specials and the... More

The service is good. The food is excellent. Madame la Patronne (I would use the Italian equivalent but Madame isn't Italian so the French will have to fit) circulates around tables diligently checking that all is well and schmoozing nicely with the diners. And the atmosphere is good. Downsides, let's see. Well the wine is not cheap at $9.50 for... More
