I eat at the healthy japan in visalia and service and food is always top notch. This one, workers were unsure of which food was which, still got my order wrong after 25 min and I wasnt the only one. Seems like workers arent trained. For the money expect better than mcdonalds service and food.

I do like the food at Healthy Japan, but I wish the owners were a little more attentive to the staff practices. If you arrive at 7:30 p.m. (closing is at 8:30 p.m.), you will witness the closing process early! Not a practice that one should habitually follow, but if you come in later in the evening - say a... Came here today and wish I would have taken a picture of my sushi roll. There was SOO SOO much rice and a tiny little roll in the middle. So I pretty much had a rice roll with a dash of tuna and shimp. So after i took off the extra rice the roll was good. The fish tasted fresh... More

I really like Healthy Japan. The food is good & choices are many! I recommend their teriyaki chicken highly! I'm not doing back flips over the sushi but it is decent. The price point is a bit high but it is my favorite restaurant in Tulare.

This is probably the worst sushi I've ever had and this place only survives because there is such a lack of options in the area. Pros: Lots of parking. Cons: The sushi. There's nothing healthy about it. Their prices are average, but the sushi is below-average. They have teriyaki rolls, fried and chicken rolls, no real (fresh fish) options. I... More

Never had a bad shrimp tempura roll until I ate there. The pot stickers were descent. Prices were descent.

Even though I am logged into the Tulare CA site, I am writing about both the sites in Visalia. The site on Akers and the new site on Mooney Blvd. I love this place, especially the one on Mooney close to COS. The only downside is it's closed on Sundays, but we can always go to the one on Akers.... More

Sushi rolls were huge but a little lacking in flavor and craftsmanship. Average overall but the only sushi place in the area.
