The food at this restaurant is always good. Hearty portions in a friendly atmosphere. Great selections, you won't leave hungry!
This BBD is just one of only 60 locations found west of the Rockies. It just happens to be the one we pass by most on our way to Southern Calif. or Las Vegas. Everything said here also applies to the other 7 locations we have visited. Breakfast seems to be the specialty with huge portions of all kinds of... More
After a long day in the sun we'd saved up our appetites for this place. I read the reviews posted on TA,and let me just say Black Bear Diner was Fantastic! The portions are gigantic! The service was on point and we left absolutely stuffed! Great job guys! Keep up the good work we'll definitely be returning!
No matter where I find a Black Bear I can be sure that the food, especially breakfast will be consistent and top notch. I eat at the one in Tulare most often but all are wonderful. They grind their own sausage and shred their own hash-browns. They are the best for comfort foods as you would expect them. They manage to... More
We always enjoy eating at the Black Bear dinners. The food is always excellent and the service cannot be beat. This Black Bear Dinner was one of the best ever. Melanie Mendoza, the general manager went our of her way to see that we enjoyed our visit. We will always return to this Black Bear Dinner when we come through... More
The dinner ordered last evening was superb! Had the bacon, lettuce, avacado, swiss cheese on toasted rye...wonderfully presented & a treat to consume! Highly recommended.
We love Black Bear Diner's. We always look for one wherever we are. They are consistent and this one was no different. We had a great dinner. Excellent service. We had breakfast one day. Plenty to eat and reasonably priced. We will always look for a Black Bear Diner wherever we go.
Amazing food and amazing desserts, the banana crime pie was sooooo good. Loved the baby back ribs, perfectly cooked and they just fall off the bone. The fried chicken was fantastic and they even rub seasoning under the skin, so darn good I'm gonna have to make a 4.5 hr drive again just to eat here.
The bear theme is cute, although perhaps a bit overdone - still enjoyed it. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. They stay open later than most other places in the area.
My wife and I went this morning for breakfast after a medical appointment that I had. The ham steak and eggs is a good choice, but they have many breakfast items to choose from. The service was very good also.
