local restaurant - good greasy spoon breakfast

This place is attached to a hotel and in the middle of about 4 other hotels. I was staying nearby and saw the sign and good reviews so decided to have breakfast here. Service was prompt. Decor is country or kitschy depending on your point of view. Their apple pie and turnovers looked good... read more

We ate here one evening and although the menu was varied. And plain home style cooking mistakes were made with our order. Service was not very good, no check back, and once we had eaten we waited 20 mins for the check and eventually had to go and ask at the desk. It seems popular with local residents who get... More

The food was great for the price. A lot of antics to look at & they have a scale model train that travels around the dinning room while you eat.

This is a little restaurant tucked at the end of a parking lot with a hotel. As you walk in you will be reminded of restaurants like Polly's. Furnished with little knick-knacks and a train that circles the inside roof area of the restaurant. The menu is enormous with several different omelettes breakfast items, sandwiches- lunch items and even Mexican... More

Stopped here for a quick lunch after seeing their advertisement on Hwy 99. Wasn't disappointed. It has a country decor with a bit of Route 66 ....LGB train running along the ceiling, old gas pump on display, etc. BLT was good, apple pie was great.

Apple Annie's is a cute little restaurant that welcomes you with a beautiful flower gardens at the entrance. We were there for breakfast. They have a broad selection of items and a special group of meals sized for senior citizens. I had the biscuit, scrambled egg, and sausage smothered in country gravy. It was delicious. The staff is very friendly... More

Looking for a local restaurant serving fried chicken, we found Apple Annie's using a mobile search. This was our first visit to an Apple Annie's restaurant. It's a spacious diner offering standard diner fare with nightly specials. The service was very good and attentive. The fried chicken? The four small pieces of bone-in chicken were slightly under-seasoned for our taste... More

We stayed at a nearby hotel and this cute restaurant was a pleasant surprise for breakfast. The staff are very friendly, the food was excellent and also very quick so we could get on the road sooner. My husband was very happy with his "Joe's scramble" and I had a homemade apple dumpling with warm cinnamon sauce, yummm.

Apple Annie's is an old fashioned diner, but a bit bigger and slightly more formal. It's focus is breakfast. We eat breakfast there regularly when visiting family in the Tulare/Tipton area. We frequently eschew the "free" breakfast that our hotel offers and head to Apply Annie's for something more hearty and more like good, home cooking. Vegetarians might want to... More

Family owned with a real home town appeal the portions are like your mother would put in your plate. The flavor and variety of meals will satisfy a multitude of tastes and palates, you will be pleasantly surprised. I would recommend getting there early on Sunday, because it get's real busy after church.
