Good Food - Rushed Service

We had a party of six with a reservation at 6p. We were on time and we were sat immediately. The food was very tasty and was greeted with enthusiasm even from out pickiest of eaters. The service was good, but it was abundantly clear that they wanted to turn the table ASAP. The waiter only asked... read more

Living in major cities I managed to get a real ego about smaller towns the arts. I couldn't have been more delighted to be into my place. This mountain hotel, restaurant bar is perfect. The food is amazing, priced well, cocktails are taken seriously and Jazz blew our minds. Make sure you ask to sit near the band and get... More

Cozy. War. Friendly. Inviting. Nice table by the window. Nice menu with a few specials. A few times per year, elk is available. A bit pricey. but worth it. 3 ribs, looks like large lamb chop, was cooked perfectly. To get all the meat, you can pick it up and enjoy the 'rib popsicle'. The house red wine can be... More

A nice place for families or couples. It can get a little crowded but they do take reservations, and service is fairly quick. Wait staff is very knowledgeable and willing to explain menu, make recommendations. Food varies from casual (gourmet-type pizza) to more traditional dinner selections from pasta to steak, all good. My family returns here every time they're in... More

The place has a neighborhoody feel to it. All the patrons seemed to be having a great time. The food was good, my son had the pizza and I had the deconstructed chicken pot pie. The cocktail I had was a nice take on a old fashioned. Would definitely go again.

This is my favorite restaurant in Truckee. Casual dining with a full bar...I love the appetizers and the burger....This is one of those places where if you are local you will most likely see someone that you know as this is the best place for locals in town.

A girlfriend and I stopped in for a warm drink, and enjoyed that and the company of others enjoying mid-day drinks and lunch at the bar. The service was attentive, the bartender and other patrons were friendly, and the ambiance was nice. The parmesan truffle fries were just a little oily, but we managed to eat every last one -... The food was very good and they were open for lunch. Seemed to be one of the more healthy options in the town. They had nice wine an fun drink options. They have music at night.

Dropped in for lunch on the way to Reno from the east bay, outdoor seating with heaters, varied lunch menu, not the greatest draft selection tbh, but the food was first class, will stop by again for sure
