They assemble your tacos burritos etc to your specifications, and are generous in doing so! My fave is the fish tacos! Picnic benches outside for a nice casual meal! Away from bustling downtown so you can always find a place to park!

Great food, great hot sauce, great prices. My burrito was bigger than my stomach. Nice place to sit outside during the summer. Fish tacos are great as well is everything else I've tried.

Good selection of standard Mexican foods like tacos and burritos, with some nice additions of seafood items. Kids were a little disappointed at the lack of aguas frescas.

The food here is one of the best in the area. The tacos, burritos, etc are made to order meaning you select the fresh ingredients. Hungry?!? you gotta try the burrito. They load it with meat of your choice, rice, black or baked beans, fresh sides (lettuce, cheese, tomato, salsa, guacamole, etc) you name it and they will load it.... More

I've driven by countless times and stopped yesterday. Can't say enough good stuff about this place. The fish tacos were some of the best I've had in Northern California. Thought I was on the beach in Mexico. Can't wait to go back and try it again. We ate outside on tables and it is quite a simple no frills place... More

Not gourmet or super spicy but huge portions and quick. Try the taco salad, it consists of rice, beans, large portions of meat, all the extras and you pick what and how much. ($8) They now take credit cards and have beer. Take it home and feed the gang for a fraction of what a Truckee resturant costs!

We have tried Taco Station 3 separate times & each time we've left scratching our heads as to why anyone thinks the food is great. In my opinion - it's very, very mediocre nontraditional-style Mexican food. Yes, large portions but we never finish them because it's so... blah. There are SO many Mexican restaurants in Truckee & most serve traditional... More

I had lunch here with my family today (wife and 2 kids, mother in law and sister in law). I read the great reviews and they were spot on target! We are actually renting a house in the mountains not too far from this place so it was very easy for us. We headed to go skiing at Squaw Valley... More
