Wonderful wine bar and delicious small plates. The eggplant tagine was fabulous. Great wine pairings and wine tastings. A real find in the village at Northstar.

I love to go to Petra and have a glass of wine with cheese and crackers or bread after all of my Northstar ski days.! It's also great with a group of friends or clients. The presentation is the best and the cheeses with honey and figs are so yummy! The team at Petra is very welcoming to all of... More

Lots of innovative, appetizers, soups, salads, and small plates. Nice cozy place with various seating arrangements. I had the wine flight, which was three excellent sparkling wines and I thought a good value. We were looking for a light meal and this place was just the ticket. Nothing is too expensive, but if you were really hungry you could rack... More

We went for a glass of wine last night and ended up getting some plates of food. The quash and quinoa dish was incredibly delicious! The staff is friendly and we really enjoyed ourselves. Great wine selection.

I really enjoyed the happy hour wine tasting.. You received two wines ( selected by Petra) and cheese. It was quite enjoyable and the hose was super friendly. I would go back.

We stopped at Petra for a glass of wine before heading out to dinner one evening, and the experience was exceptional. Petra had a nice selection of reasonably priced wines, and the ambiance was fabulous!

We stopped and had a glass of wine before dinner here, and also had the charcuterie, which was fabulous. The bartender was friendly and knowledgable about the wine and area.

I love wine bars and this one was great! The food selections were excellent - more than I expected from a wine bar and very tasty.

I always fit Petra into my schedule whenever I'm in Tahoe. This wine bar is an essential stop. The small plates are excellent and can be paired with wine or beer. If you are with a small child, the milk and cookies is a must-get.

Petra is located away from the ice/roller rink so I think that some people might miss it. I sat outside and enjoyed the mountain air and the perfect weather while dining on crab & risotto cakes and a sumptuous Greek salad. I will definitely dine there again when in Northstar.
