Interesting Beer, Solid Food, Chill Setting

All of their beer is pretty good, but the thing they specialize in is barrel aged porters. Food is standard bar/brewery fare and totally acceptable. Service is friendly and informed. It's a spot I hit up a couple times a month at least.

My spouse and I had ribs at the "50/50" in Feb 2015. The dish was ribs and mashed potato with fried onion rings on top and with the best sauce imaginable. Perfection with a local beer! We told our waitress how delighted we were and how we would like to thank the chef personally. He promptly joined us at our... More

This was not a good visit for us, the last two times we are here it was great. This time was slightly disappointing. I had the mussels, which I had on the previous visits, and they were cold! I kid you not, the shells were actually cold. My daughter had the Bourbon shrimp app with sweet potatoes fries and hers... More

Stopped here for lunch and to sample some of the house-made beers. Very good food, service and libations.

Average food. Tahoe prices. Won't let dogs on patio. Have to be on other side of fence. Beer is decent

Some excellent beers and a food selection that was better than expected. We ate and drank there twice in one week. Really enjoyed the barrel aged beer and the Donner Party Porter (chocolatey and a bit sweet).

I docked two stars because the ambiance in here is off. I'm not sure what can be done to fix it, but it feels cavernous and impersonal. More like a dining hall and less like a brew pub. Service is good. The burgers are great. The kid's meals were the standard fare. But, the vibe is so odd that I... More

Wonderful Porter, great service and Delicious onion rings...We really enjoyed this little brewery. The staff was polite and friendly and they were able to answer our questions about the brewery with ease. We also enjoyed some wine tasting. We would def return for another glass of the Donner party Porter!

Good local burger, good service, good beer but the place is very loud. Perhaps some sound proofing material on the ceiling would help

We went there this evening for our granddaughter's birthday. Ordered a bottle of the second most expensive wine. They brought three glasses of wine. Sorry. We wanted the bottle. Waitress then came back and told us they were out of bottle we ordered. Makes one wonder what was in three glasses. Certainly not what we ordered. After several other attempts... More

Hello, First and foremost I would like to apologize for the quality of food during your experience. This is unacceptable and will take it upon myself to speak with our Kitchen Manager to work on these items and strive forward in our progress to maintain consistency with our new menu. In respect to the wine, this is inexcusable and I... More
