Lunch was great!

The service was interesting, but good...the price is quite high, but the food is good. We had 1 sushi roll and 2 appetizers and no alcohol for 45.00 with tip. I won't rush back, but it was a birthday lunch, so that was okay.

We went here while spending a few days at Squaw. Recommended by the folks in our hotel. The food was so good, we returned the next night. This is some of the nicer fish I've had. The second night, our server forgot our rice order and very kindly comped that and dessert. If you're not familiar with the area, you'll... More

Although we came, and heard it was good from friends, I didn't enjoy the food very much. It just wasn't amazing, and the service, even when it wasn't crowded, was very slow. Staff was ok, the bathroom needs cleaning, even though we came when it just opened for lunch, overall, strictly mediocre

Sam and his staff work very hard to please sushi lovers. The bar is fun and the beverages and food choices are up to date and good. Worth the wait and a drive through sleet and snow. Thank you Sam for sharing your art and love of a great dining experience.

Had a great dinner at Drunken Monkey while visiting Tahoe. The food was excellent and the service was good. Prices were reasonable. The restaurant doesn't take reservations which was annoying on a busy Friday night.

We passed by, not thinking anything of it and I am glad we decided to give it a try. The sushi is great, and Sam is good at his craft. What was a surprise was the Brisket Ramen, which was not on the menu, but suggested by Sam. Very tasty and the noodles were perfect (I prefer them firm, al... More

The Sushi was fresh, the tempura veggies were perfectly done, great staff, lovely decor in a beautiful setting. And there are new Tesla Superchargers in place in the parking lot!!

We've always enjoyed dinner at his restaurant. Stopped in for lunch after Labor Day and got more attention from the flies than the Waitresses. Usually love the fried Calmari, this time it was quite greasy. The "Crab Roll" we ordered tasted like yesterdays fish as an ingredient,(funny, the "Fish Truck" was outside with Todays delivery!)! My wife has always warned... More

We come to visit our daughter every month or two and try to make sure we stop here. Very good happy hour with small plates and rolls. We like the tempura and the Black and White rolls especially. They don't have scotch, but offered me a strong rice whiskey on the rocks that was a nice replacement. Great service also.
