It's easy to think that Stella would be ideal for special occasions. But to deny yourself the experience more than once a year would be short sighted! We have eaten here several times over the last four years and it just gets better. You can order ala carte or "make" a prix fixe four course dinner. Service was great; Timothy, our waiter was a winner who added much to our meal.

That may say it all. Is it the best in Truckee? Not sure, but it's up there. I had a special fish stew like dish and other than being slightly over spiced (heat) it was terrific.
