Always a great breakfast in Trinidad

Good place for breakfast or lunch in Trinidad. Essentially a small diner. Good portions and prices reasonable.

Saw the sign on the hiway and deceided to stop for chowder and steamers. Finished off with blackberry cobler. Well worth the stop.

We walked in on a Wednesday night in July and only had to wait about five minutes for a table, but during that time we were offered samples of homemade fudge--my kind of place. Once seated in a cozy booth, we enjoyed thick clam chowder and salads with the famous blackberry cobbler for dessert. One serving was enough for the... More

We've been here lots of times and have never left hungry or unhappy. Some others have complained about greasy food...I can't eat it so I don't order fried food...but my husband reports that it is great. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and I've always gotten a great meal. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Bye the... More

With the wonderful location and access to fresh seafood, my lunch the Trinidad Bay Eatery didn't meet my expectations. We visited on a busy Saturday, which may have been part of the problem. We were seated after a 30 minute wait and our orders were taken promptly. I had the shrimp fish and chips. Other members of the party had... More

This was the best food we had on our 17 day tour of Central and Northern California. We had cod, clams, clam chowder and a BLT. The cod was perfectly breaded (lightly) and the clams were excellent. The restaurant has a quaint feel and the little store next to it had some unique items and good prices. We compared our... More

Stopped in for a late supper on a weeknight. Had to wait a little while for 2 tables, but it was worth it. Waitress was very helpful with wine and food selections. Had a variety of food---burgers, ceviche, fish 'n chips, seafood platter, pasta---and all was very good. Would go back again.

This is a small restaurant right near the ocean. There was a waiting list when we got there for lunch, but the gallery attached gave us plenty to do while we waited. The food was above average and the service was great. I had a seafood omelette that was very good. We will eat there again on our next trip.
