Nice place to relax

We decided, after seeing a bus advertisement, to stop in for there blackberry cobbler. Yummy!!! I am so glad we did, the topping was crisp and the blackberries had to have been freshly picked or if not an awesome impression. The waitress was extremely friendly and was truly attentive to our needs... read more

My information is dated but after reading recent reviews remains accurate. I owned The Freshwater Store from 1976 to 1978. The store was built in 1886 and was a fantastic experience. I went by once more in 1993 while returning from Seattle. I was coming home to Texas after my daughter Emily had a bone marrow transplant at The Swedish... More

Short walk to the lighthouse. Friendly, relaxed service. Had the clams one night, mussels the next. Both were wonderful. This is the best place to get seafood in Trinidad.

Greetings, Danny O. We appreciate our Redding neighbors coming over for a taste of the coast! I checked with our server and they mentioned that you split your breakfast quesadilla with your guest who requested avocado on their half in place of the bacon you requested. We always try to accommodate our guests and we sure tried to make your... More

Hi, Michelle. Out tell our ad guy that you came in from the sign he designed. We call it, "Our Blackberry Whole Body Experience". We've seen folks lick the bowl on occasion after finishing. That's quite a stamp of approval. We're especially glad you found our wait-staff just the way we'd want if we were guests too. They work hard... More

Casual, comfortable place. Family breakfast and had a mix of pancakes, eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs and French toast - all the meals were a good size, tasty and the people very nice. Went back again and would recommend to others.

I was in Arcata to visit my daughter who is a student at Humboldt State University. We took a day trip to Trinidad, a lovely beach town just north of Arcata and we had lunch at Trinidad Bay Eatery & Gallery. I ordered the clam chowder in a bread bowl and it was hands down the BEST clam chowder! The... More

Hi, Janice. Thank you for the rave about our chowder! It is one of my personal favorites, and could eat a bowl everyday. Glad you were able to be in town for a daughter-visit and we hope you'll darken our doorstep again soon when you travel back up to Humboldt County. Peace be yours! More

This is a must do, when in Trinidad. The crab omelet is the absolute best! Their french toast is also a favorite!

Nice place to have breakfast before visiting the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse which is just down the block. I had the crab omelet which was a little pricey, but generously stuffed with crab. My daughter had the French toast which she really liked. Cute little gift shop attached to the restaurant.
