The sauce is the winner and the goat cheese raspberry dessert is our fav!!! We try to go atleast 2 times while... More

Our Inn keeper recommended Larrupin and we were so glad she did. We didn't make reservations (our bad) but they accommodated us anyway in their lovely garden spot. We were glad for the heaters believe it or not in July. The food was Outstanding! Quite possibly the best steak we have ever had.

Elegant dining in Trinidad. They do their own smoked meats perfectly. The brisket, an uncommon item in a fine restaurant, was extraordinary and left plenty for sandwiches the next day during redwood hikes. Nice cornish hen; the half with accompanying sides is plenty. Quiet, romantic.

Nine of us came to celebrate a dear friend's 50th birthday and everyone agreed it was an amazing experience. We were seated on the patio and kept warm by outdoor heaters; the live music was pleasant, audible, but not so loud as to be distracting; we watched our appetizers being prepared at the outdoor kitchen; our waiter was attentive, punctual,... The restaurant was recommended by the proprietors of the B&B where we stayed, and was located near us (Turtle Bay Inn) and numerous other accommodations on the same road. Every course, whether seas food or beef, was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor was charming. Unfortunately for us, there happened to be a large and rather... More

We made a point of reserving here when we came through the area again. Our first visit three years ago was wonderful. This past week was so-so, in my opinion, although my three dinner mates seemed to enjoy their meals more than I did. The cod with asparagus was on the dry side. The smoked beef brisket was dry and... We ate here for our first time last night as we were traveling south from Oregon. We both loved the atmosphere w live piano music on the patio, the service and friendliness of the staff and the delicious food. A great experience all around, except for the fact that we were so deliciously stuffed that there was no room for... More

I celebrated my mother's 90th birthday with dinner at the Larrupin Cafe, and once again the dining experience was superb. I am a chef by trade and appreciate the creativity and uniqueness of their food. The eclectic and artistic ambiance of the Cafe is refreshing and inspiring. Starting with the red ceramic water pitchers, shaped like a large fish, with... More

I guess my title is a good summary of my experience. On the plus side, the atmosphere is quite nice and I liked the eccentric decor, and staff help. The food however is made out great organic ingredient, but I have eaten much better from great ingredient, and $12 for a fried garlic on bread??? sounds a lot, My mom... More
