Looking for dinner with a view while in Trinidad, ca?

If you are looking for a decent place to eat while in Trinidad and you'd like to see the ocean, I rec this place. Somewhat hard to find. They were quite busy and we did not have reservations, so we took a place at the bar to eat. Food was good; bar staff was better. Bartender was very attentive... read more

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise on our trip through the north coast. We were checking out restaurants in the area and decided to give The Moonstone a shot. It was Sunday at 5:30 and Casey, the host, was very gracious and was able to fit us in. Reservations are recommended especially if you're trying to catch a dinner sunset.... More

We made reservations so we could have a sunset dinner. We enjoyed our meal to the fullest. From the appetizer to main course plus desert. Our experience was excellent and very romantic. The serves was great. From the phone call for reservations to the waiter and others who helped. We were very happy with this experience.

You can't beat the view. On a relatively overcast day you could sit and watch the surfers ride the waves, the children play on the beach and if you are lucky you might see a whale from your seat in the dining room. As for the food and the service, they were good. The menu wasn't a bargain and we... More

We had the Lobster (worth every penny) and the encrusted Halibut (I had envisioned more "crust" than what was on it, but it was very tasty). My husbands New England Chowder was creamy and delicious. We had the creme brulee for dessert and an excellent Grappa. Our service was satisfactory--nothing spectacular but not poor either. I would definitely come back.

The location, views and bar scene was very upbeat. Had a pepperoncini martini, which I will definitely try at home, since I'm a dirty martini kind of gal. Nice wine list but not very many available by the glass that I would be interested in trying. The menu is limited and they were out of wontons for the salmon started,... More

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is incredible-- we had the smoked salmon wontons, Caesar salad, Maine lobster, abalone and pasta, and Lemon cheesecake, and they were all spectacular! Plus the views are breathtaking! DO NOT miss out on this little gem! Be sure to make a reservation though--It's a small place, and you definitely want a table with... More

The setting of this restaurant is spectacular, right on the beach in far Northern California. The food is excellent and service is good.

My friend and I went for a celebratory dinner. We started with the beet tower appetizer that was so good. I had the seafood chowder & coconut encrusted halibut, and my friend had the house salad and baked chicken. Everything was delicious. The service was delightful and the view was incredible!
