Always good

I love this diner. The food is always good, and the service is quick and friendly. This location is always busy but it usually doesn't slow the service down at all.

Wow and how much food! Had the breakfast (can't rememer the name) which pretty much had everything on it - 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 ham, eggs, potatoes and two pancakes!! It defeated me, but was soo good. Great fuel ahead of our treck in Muir Woods

Will just a note to say this was a great breakfast, been to several Black Bear Diners but this one stands out like none of the others. Stopped in on a Friday on our way to Reno and had a great breakfast and had the eggs over medium and the bacon & hash browns with a huge bisquit that was... More

Super hearty portions very clean and very friendly staff. It can be very busy on the weekends but if you want good food and plenty of it then this is the place to be!!

The food was not as good as the price assumes. This place is always busy so we assumed maybe we were missing out. Apparently local people around here don't know what good food should taste like to their palette. You get good portions but it doesn't make up for the cost. The environment is a weird dusty atmosphere that could... More

Over all the chain of Black Bear Diners are pretty good as chain restaurants go. This location is inconsistent, The breakfast and lunch is good, but nothing to write home about. The menu is basic and solid but the dinner is shaky. While other locations I have had good meals but this one I'm not impressed. Some days are great... More
