Food-3.5 stars. Bento boxes are good. Salmon teriyaki bento is consistently good. Chicken teriyaki is usually good but sometimes overcooked. Sushi is OK, but sushi that goes with lunch is a bit dry. Value-4 stars at lunch. Bento boxes are $9.95 and include miso soup and a nice salad. It's a very good deal. Service-4.5 stars. Servers make us feel... More

the sushi was good but do miss a nice Japanese beer with my food. the restaurant is a little plain but then the quality of food and service makes up for that.

I'm not impressed I went there asking if they can fix it how I wanted my sushi because the offer the basic run of the meal sushi combinations,,they laughed and said maybe that's a house special ...the thing with sushi you should get it how YOU like not just what they offer. I must say the fish is fresh though..... More

I tried this restaurant the first time because it is within walking distance. When you first walk in you are given a friendly greeting by everyone that works there. The place is clean and welcoming and the food is very good and fresh. The first time I ordered the sashimi salad. I was eating low carb that day. The sashimi... More

The restaurant was not busy when I went in and I was the only person at the sushi bar. I am super picky about sushi...nothing fishy, no fake crab, soy paper not seaweed, blah blah, yeah I know it's annoying. So when I go for sushi I tip well and I don't go when the sushi chef is busy. This... More

Tried Kengo's based on my 13-year old grandson's recommendation. Who knew - a kid with some tastebuds! :) Tried four different rolls - all were very good, but very large. Could have tried more - but because there were so many pieces and the size - was full after one full roll. One suggestion - I prefer traditional Japanese Gyoza... More

One of the worst Japanese restaurants I ve been to in a while. Although they tried to hide it with lots of rich, sweet teriyaki sauce, there were pieces of spoiled, pungent meat in my chicken teriyaki (total turn off!!), the batter for the tempura was thick and soggy and the small shrimp had no flavor (how did they do... I used to go to Blue Fin near the mall, the people there are rude. And the food isn't as good as Kengo. If you want sushi, they are kinda new but really good!!

We went there with a friend and our 2 children. The sushi was great and the service was too. We aren't particularly fond of rolls with cream cheese so that was not a selling point, but everything seemed fresh. The kids enjoyed their teriyaki chicken which was served with rice and salad. My son loved the ahi sashimi! We would... More

This place is one of the best Sushi in Tracy I've ever been. Tthere are lots of choices, like the grilled salmon, deep fried prawn rolls with cream cheese and their special lunch bento box, with their prices so affordable. They are open from Mon-Sat only. And one more appealing are their music, oldies but goodies. So if your looking... More
