We had dinner at this restaurant yesterday and I have to say that I was really surprised on the quality of the food. Don't go by the outside appearance of this restaurant, the food was really...really good, especially the Kadahai Chicken and Ghobi Manchurian. Prices were very reasonable for the LA area and it was nice and clean.

I came here with a client and a business colleague for the lunch buffet. Once I tasted the food my biggest fear was eating too much. It was like being back in Edison, NJ where I lived among the large Indian community. The service was great and there is "hidden" parking in the back. Since I eat mainly vegetarian and... More

If you are looking for some well-prepared Indian food, Angara is some of the best you can get in the South Bay area. The folks who run the place are very friendly and accommodating too… We’ve tried several dishes and they have been really good, but the Chicken Makhani ("butter chicken") and their plain na’an are outstanding. However, I advise... More

You can get all the Bollywood viewing you ever want at Angara, where the movies play constantly. They are not too loud, and can be amusing. Food service is lowkey and perhaps ditzy, but it was not a problem and kind of fit with the place. The food was good. The samosas were flavorful. The coconut curry did not have... More

Three of us had dinner here and we were thoroughly impressed and delighted with the food and service. Each dish was really great and we really did feel like we were a guest of the owners and their family. We would definitely go back.

We were four adults and a baby looking for something different, and we found it with a great deal of fun. The waiter was a big help in suggesting items which might go together, and which we could all share. The dishes were prompt, hot, and delicious, but the service was so very kind. It can sometimes be a pain... More
