long wait, cold, dingy, dirty, unfriendly hosts and servers who don't care. expensive and ridiculously small portions. there is an all you can eat korean bbq around the corner that is new and charges less.

Stopped in for lunch for a change. They had great prices and happy hour prices as well. For 7.95 you can get miso soup salad rice edamame beef chicken and pork to grill. Not bad and I love the style of restaurant where you can grill your meat at your table.

We ate here and made sure all of our food was properly cooked by us...ironically, we didn't check the sukiyaki bimbimap (sp). Just make sure that all meats are properly cooked and you are in for a great meal!

I have dined here multiple times and have found this restaurant quite boisterous mostly. Conducive to meeting friends after hours or for celebrations, it can get quite loud. Dishes come in small packages which you cook at the table grill, so active participation is required unless you like burnt food. Otherwise friendly service, decent food, party atmosphere. Recommend making reservations... More

I’ve eaten at Gyu-Kaku several times, for both lunch and dinner. Once was at a location in Vancouver, Canada; the other times were at this location in Torrance. This restaurant is fairly small, and once you’re inside there’s no view of the outside at all, which is probably a good thing since all you’d see is the Torrance Crossroads parking... More

My husband was given a gift certificate for Father's Day and we had a chance to use it with one of our sons, his wife and their 2 1/2 year old daughter, plus our son's mother-in-law - a party of 6 (I know - it's hard to follow!). Luckily, our son and daughter-in-law have gone here enough times to know... More

No place can touch the happy hour here. Great service, great food and portion. $1.50 Sapporo draft during happy hour.

Whenever we are in the neighborhood, we always make a point to stop at Gyu-Kaku and eat some great Korean-style BBQ. Pretty much anything in this place is great, we especially enjoy the steak though. We're often too full for a smore, but every once in a while we get smores as well. Our 8 y.o. loves this place and... More
