Excellent food came with excellent service. We met with friends and stayed there for hours. They are so friendly that all they asked was if we want to order anything else but never did they make us feel unwelcome to stay and linger or told us to leave.

we went on a sunday evening and business was slow. there is plenty of parking in the lot behind the building. it is pretty inside with the island theme and the saltwater aquariums. the bar has a diner feel to it and we didn't feel crowded even though there were other tables near ours. we started with the nachos which... Dating myself, but this restaurant used to be Icabod Cranes in the 70's. When it became King's Hawaiian in the 80's, I've been a regular customer for years. The food and service has always been great. This is not to say that service at times may be slow at times......but hey just imagine yourself on the island and on Hawaiian... More

Lucky to those who write about service efficiency at King's Hawaiian. I live in the area and have been several times, but no more. Each time in the past it's been the same ~ the service has been extremely s - l - o - w. Each time the restaurant manager has been called over in exasperation (and letters written... More

Every time we visit Southern California we always go to King's Hawaiian. The food is excellent! It's always hard to decide what to order because everything is delicious. On our way out, we always get a few bakery items to enjoy back at our hotel.

I finally got a chance to go to this bakery and restaurant after 6 months of going to L.A. I loved the hawaiian decor. It smells so inviting when you come in! The bakery has so many mouth watering pastries, cakes, donuts, malasadas (Hawaiian Portuguese donut) variety of breads and cookies, cute leis of candy wrapped, and Christmas goodies -... More

Stopped in for lunch, first visit. The pork/mahi combo plate was good and good sized portions. The service was very friendly and efficient. The bakery has an amazing selection. We took home several different slices of cake and each one was very tasty. May have to stop in for breakfast before our visit to the area is done

The dinner menu is nice, and the food is good. Make sure you take some muffins, coffeecake or a paradise cake home. You won't regret it!!!

We've been coming here off and on the weekends for many years. The selection of food can't be matched. In the early years, they had a rewards program and even someone who made balloons for the kids. But both are long gone sorry to say. As for the menu, we love almost everything on it. We would like to see... More

While the restaurant is good, the bakery is great. That paradise cake is the best to order for special occasions. During the holidays, they have prewrappes gifts that are especially perfect for hostess gifts. The Hawaiian bread makes the best French toast!
