The good things about the place: very generous portions, nice ambiance, excellent service, trattoria-kind of feeling. Other than that, let us be honest: the food is not really truly italian, even though the place is supposed to be an Italian restaurant. To some extent, that is okay. Yet, the food was mediocre, at best, all the three dishes we tried... More

Actually, I love the lasagna, the chicken cacciatore, the tiramisu, and many other items on the menu. The size of Scardino's is small, which we prefer, and reservations are recommended. The staff is very friendly and feel like family. It's our go-to restaurant!!

I went there when it opened, it's located at the corner of where I live, I walk my dog past there every day. I was disappointed with the food, it was more Ecuadorian than Italian, featuring papuas, the music, even today when I was walking past, was Hispanic, but it is always crowded, every day! So I must be missing... More

Scardino's is a small italian restaurant in Torrance with a warm, relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. We've dined there many times and the food and service have always been some of the best in the South Bay. From pasta to seafood to pizza you can't go wrong.

There isn't anything on the menu not to like , if you really enjoy Italian food ! Good friends told us about this restaurant that has been in Torrance for a long time. We have lived here over 30yrs & must of drove by this place a thousand times. They are in the process of expanding the restaurant because over... More

Skepticism on all levels filtrated my brain..... We walked up to the outside patio and watched in complete disbelief as our "promised" table was given to another party. It was COLD outside, not cool, however the host quickly gave us an indoor table and we put that mishap behind us. The food was absolutely hands down "AMAZING"...the service was FLAWLESS!... More

My husband and I visit this little Italian restaurant every now and then, and really enjoy the food. Most of all, the owners and staff are so personable, they make you want to keep coming back. They are also very accommodating. If you plan to go, call ahead and ask about specials which come up at various times. Good food... More

My husband and I went to Scardino's this past weekend and I gotta say - some of the best Italian food I have eaten. I lived in Europe for a while and we used to drive to Italy for the weekend just to eat Italian food. Scardino's just brought that good food back to me.We had a bottle of "Remole"... More

Menu is extensive, food great and the service wonderful.....The delivery (pizza) is second to none. On warmer nights there is some outdoor seating.

In town for business with colleague and was looking for something Italian. Ran across Scardino's in a little strip mall. It was a nice night so we sat outside. We both ordered the veal parmesan and were not disappointed. It was a busy night inside the small restaurant so we were glad we sat outside. Still the service was excellent... More
