Loved it!

Very short wait, we sat at the counter and enjoyed the theatrics from the staff. Ordered 'regular ramen set' which consisted of draft beer + kara-age (fried chicken) + ramen with spicy miso. Enjoyed it very much and highly recommended. Soup stock was excellent.

A great yakitori restaurant, loud, noisy and fun like it should be. They serve all forms of yakitori and the taste is similar to Japan. Service is friendly, atmosphere is fun. This is one of the places I go to whenever I am in the area

The best yakitori restaurant we've been to! Although the servers can be a little loud at times, service is great and food is really delicious! We ordered a bunch of yakitoris, tuna and salmon sashimi appetizers, and a bunch of other apps. Everything tasted wonderful. We went at about 8:30PM on a Saturday night and waited for about 15-20 minutes.

For years, I have always wanted to try this place and it was always crowded. The kobe beef was excellent. The not so good thing was that there was hardly any seafood.

Was here for mainly yakitori. They has hot pots but we ordered only appetizers and yakitori. The place is very small so be prepare for a wait on weekend. We were seated in the side dining room who was less smokey and quieter. The service is excellent but they did forget a few of the yakitori we ordered. Very close... More

My husband and I have been coming to this place for 15+ years. We have taken countless friends and family members as well - in fact, every time we make new friends, we bring them here. Shinsen Gumi has great food - grilled to perfection and served on skewers. Some of our favorites are flap meat, chicken meatballs, colossal shrimp,... More

Yummy yakitori, I think it is better than the little tokyo one. They know how to make their chicken liver! Only problem is the waiting staff yells the whole time, gets so loud that it is hard to carry a conversation.
