We expected GREAT and unfortunately only got good

My wife and I have dined at many of your locations and even though we moved out of state we try to dine at the Torrance location whenever we visit my old home town. My wife and I have recently retired and this is the first time in over 3 years that we have had the opportunity to visit this... read more

We had been running all over California trying to fine a realky good steak, places like Kincaids, the Chart House, Blue Water Grill, etc, and none had a steak as good as the ribeye we got here. The service is a little lacking, we were forced to site in the front section near the bar, not a very dinner like... More

Black Angus is a good chain restaurant that has been our family go-to steak restaurant when we wanted quality steak on an affordable price. We usually get the two person special--any appetizer, two entrees, and any dessert. The restaurant now charges more for the rib eye which bugs us. The menu does include seasonal fresh veggies and lots of side... More

We were visiting LA and wanted a reasonable price steak house so we went to the Outback, but they had an hour wait which was unacceptable to us so we looked at Trip Advisor for a similar place and this came up. Got seated right away and all 4 of us had good meals. Service was good and the price... More

I went for an early dinner on a Sunday evening so I didn't have to wait. However, about halfway through they started a wait list. I felt my server was rushing me out to seat the next group. Asked if I wanted dessert, but gave me no menu to choose from. Overall, service was friendly and adequate. The baked potato... More

This is not a higher-end steakhouse, but is definitely a 'value' place. I had the NY strip, blackened, and it was a nice piece of meat. My wife had the prime rib, which she was satisfied with. The sides are good, and the dessert is a bit too sweet (I wish they would tone down the amount of sugar used).... More

For all prime rib Lovers don't skip this place. Neat old western atmosphere. Great Value with easy to get coupons for extra benefits. Really comfortable. Eat in bar area for the best service and atmosphere. Excellent salmon for those non- carnivores. Classy Mud pie for desert. Good selection of cocktails.

These days, I’m noticing an awful lot of things are scripted. Reality shows are scripted, customer service agents are scripted, flight attendants are scripted and even cashiers are scripted. It’s nice to be asked how I am today or whether or not I’ve found everything I was looking for—but when conversation starts sounding canned, I find myself longing for the... More

Enjoyed Father's Day Dinner here on Sunday 2014 and everything was delicious from the fried zucchini appetizer, the warm brown bread with cream butter(continuously supplied), salads as you like them, juicy tender baby back ribs, filet mignon so tender, chicken tenderly grilled, prime rib cooked as you like it and my favorite, loaded potato soup and fried sweet potatoes. The... More

I'm from italy and found this place through a friend. I had a good rib eye steak 16oz (450g) served with frenc fries and i had also some grilled prawns. With a seven up 41 $...quite cheap, the meat was ok the taste great.
