Went for birthday dinner with my friend who has never been. I've been to the Red Car several times and always had very good food. However, I was a little disappointed this time. I had the Blazing Noodles and I know the description said "spicy". I love spicy food, but this was so spicy it was almost inedible. My friend... More

As is our plan we find a brewpub for our first beer. Beer was really good, wings and onion rings were average, garlic fries were outstanding as was was the chicken Satay. we might be back for the beer and try pizza.

What a great spot for lunch. We went there last week and had a great lunch. We both choose different things from the Menu, I had a flat bread deli sandwich which was loaded with meat, and my friend had a hamburger and he told me it was delicious. There Ice tea has a little passion fruit in it making... More

We tried Red Car for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is located in an historic Pacific Bell building, and has a nice atmosphere, as both a pub and a restaurant. One room contains the bar, the other the restaurant area, plus there is a patio. We started with a beer sampler, and then ordered ones we especially liked. We shared a... More

I had the IPA, it was good but not real hoppy. My wife had the Porter and enjoyed it. We split the hot wings and the southwestern pizza. Both were good but the pizza could have used a little flavor, kind of bland. The hot wings had a peppery taste, not your typical hot wing sauce. If we were in... More

Great place for lunch if you work in the area. Never had a bad meal here. Though not fine dining, by any means, everything is hearty and flavorful. Make sure to get a recommendation for a pitcher of micro brew.

I used to work across the street for a major Japanese auto manufacturer. We used to go there for informal after work celebrations. It's got a very cool (old?) brick building location. And the beer is pretty good. Only problem is that the food isn't very good, and breweries are supposed to have good food! Every time I went back,... More
