Love the Red Car

I went to the Red Car Brewery for a quick lunch after a meeting. I had Motorman Bacon Cheeseburger. The burger was really good, I like the spicy ketchup, but might have liked just a little less. Maybe next time I’ll have it on the side. The beer was great, good service, nice place. I... read more

Went here with the wife and I had the cheddar burger and she had the beef dip. The burger was great and the beef dip was a little dry and not a lot of flavor (deduct a point). The beer battered fries are always good here. The IPA was very good and recommend it. The service as always been very... More

Plenty parking. 1st time to go there, not sure I'll go back but just to have beer and try other appetizers. We were the only ones waiting for a table of 7 which took about 30mins. We came here because a closer restaurants wait was 45imns. There were many small tables which could have been put together, but I guess... More

For the quality of food they serve the prices are a bit high. The iced teas are terrible. The salads are OK. The main problem is the servers, they take too long even if the restaurant is half full.

The food was fine, a couple of the beers good. The service was pleasant; could have been better, there's no excuse for three people all to have empty water glasses when their meal isn't finished. Is there anything I experienced that would want me to come back......not really.

Nice outside seating was quiet and there was no traffics noise. We both had spicy dishes that were excellent. Great beer too!

Seems like every place I go I can find the following: light beer, IPA, Double IPA, Stout, Red ale, pale ale and a session or seasonal new. The best beer here was the light beer and that's nut usually the case. We didn't eat but it looked like bar food I have seen before.

Our last night and we wanted to try a local brewery. This was close. The building is interesting and once a fire station. There was an unpleasant smell inside. We sat in the bar area. The bartender was friendly and did double duty as a server. We tried their beer and had appetizers. The beer was ok and limited selection.... More

A smaller neighborhood brewpub with good food and drink, Red Car Brewery is a less visible member of the Los Angeles beer scene. Tucked away in the suburb of Torrance, Red Car brews beer onsite and serves some tasty food in the midst of a casual atmosphere. Red Car Brewing is a laid- back place and upon entering, the first...
